  1. Bass: 2 2 5 6,5 - 7 8 Now that's a great movie I need to rewatch.
  2. Drop: Both paths get a 6 from me. The song itself is ok I guess, but I doubt I'll remember it in a week. Haven't seen the movie.
  3. Rhythm: 2 4 5, I missed the F chord a lot. 7.5 Another movie that could potentially fill the whole week.
  4. Weak sight-reads: For me it's a low 2, and that's only because of the string skip. Great movie tho, and there's probably enough cool songs in it for a whole week. Dunno what happened there lol. Neither the song or the movie are my thing. I guess 5 is fair. Another great one. I was kinda worried that it's gonna be fingerstyle, but it's perfectly playable with a pick. I'd give it a 7.5, but my perceptions are warped. @avastregWanna have a duel this time 'round?
  5. Didn't have much time this week, so these are way under-practiced.
  6. Since that seems to be the consensus, I changed the difficulty rating on Kabanos - Jagoda from 5 to 6. Thanks again for the feedback!
  7. You can try as many times you want, RR as much as you want, or even learn it from a tab outside the game. Just make sure the scores you submit are from a continuous play-trough of the song (so no going back to correct mistakes). On the harder songs I usually have to spend HOURS in RR before getting to a point where I'm ready to do a good run.
  8. Let's keep it then. Yay. On the harmonics in the 'chorus' riff, I can't get them either.
  9. After RR'ing it a bit I have to agree, it definitely goes out of sync. It went foo fast for me to notice during testing, sorry. Should we replace it then? With something easier?
  10. Think of it this way: struggling on a harder song now will make all songs easier in the future. At least that's what I'm seeing in my playing.
  11. Thanks for the feedback guys. 1. I changed the Miasma bass rating from 4 to 6. 2. The rhythm int/adv situation is tricky tho. They seemed pretty similar to me, so rated the faster one higher, turns out I was wrong. Still, I think it would be fair to everybody to keep things as they are, since there are already scores posted. 3. I'll try to keep the super-hard songs to a minimum in the future. Though I gotta say I personally like the challenge and I think it's the fastest way to progress.
  12. Sure, but if you keep getting 100% scores you are gonna get leveled up to int soon.
  13. Sadly, you are. Well, sadly for you at least . I'm kinda hoping it will happen more often, cause I don't think I can beat your scores rn. I'll give my best tho, and I do think I'm getting better, so watch out.
  14. Great! I added you to the appropriate classes.
  15. Good score, I don't think I can beat that. What would you rate the difficulty? Is it a 10/10?
  16. Sure, if you want to be in adv you're in adv. The rules state that you choose the class you start in. I updated the post, and added you to the advanced class in the player list (I think, it's my first time editing it, can someone check?). Do you want to play some rhythm or bass maybe? I highly recommend it. Ok then, I must have misread that. I thought you can win the class you're in or higher without leveling. Still, if someone wins mc on the first try, they should be in mc, no? If @IBOE555666now decides he want's to be in bass adv, does he keep the win? What about @cacahuate51?
  17. Also, @cacahuate51@LuZifeR Please choose the class you want to compete in, so we can count your wins properly. @IBOE555666 Your win I counted, since you can't really choose anything higher than masterclass. But still, please choose a class. @Rodman@kayteck If I read the rules correctly, anyone from a lower class can be a valid winner in a higher class (ex. an adv player winning mc should count, right?). If so, it seems that allowing a player who haven't yet chosen a class to win mc would be logical, since whatever he chooses it can't really be higher than mc. Adding this to the scripts looks like an improvement. Aside from the feature request, the new tools are really cool.
  18. Notes: 1. The beginner lead song has 2 wrong notes, but since they're the last two, I decided to keep it. 2. The new tools are nice. 3. The difficulty ratings are by me, and there were some tough calls, so let me know if you disagree. 4. Either the rng I use started to hate me, or the selection list is getting thinner, cause putting this list together seemed harder than before. 5. Rhythm int and adv are a bit close in difficulty. After much deliberation I decided this way, but sadly I'm not infallible, so I'm counting on some feedback. 6. If I remember the rules correctly, the song selection can be changed by the end of Sunday if there's consensus. So if you have any suggestions, speak up. I'm not 100% happy with the selections either. tl;dr Opinions needed on difficulty levels and song selection.
