@ Rodman  could you review last weeks Advanced Lead scores.  I believe Cacahuate51's score is a misread by the OCR.

Moana - You're Welcome. Acceptable. Lead is a little harder.

Thanks for another week. Next couple of weeks I don't know if I will be able to play much as I'm on holidays with my kids (maybe just some bass, let's see 😃 )

I have a question about lower tunings like drop B that we have on the GoG chart now.
Does everyone downtune to these tunings or use some kind of pitch shifter?

Posting early and at least I can be at the top of the leaderboard for a bit.  Gonna put the practice in on this one, played the solo first time through and felt like this is one I can do, Nice chops, not to much speed, let's see if I can push that last few percentage points. 

A little improvement, riding the edge of a strike on that solo this round and a couple easy mistakes.  

tbh i just didn't play god of bass because of the tuning lol a bit too low for a 4 string bass

I'm using Whammy DT Drop Tune pedal.

 

Almost. But everytime I'm replaying to get 100% I'm starting nervous and horry and make even more mistakes.

I think the low tuning was probably a factor.

But the fact that attendance has dropped here lately might be due to the summer holidays, though I don't remember if it was similar in previous years.
By the way, do you know where @ drand disappeared to? She was one of the most active here in recent months, also doing good covers, and somehow I missed her disappearance when it happened 🤔
I've been playing less lately, but I try to play every song from the championships at least once.

I have a second guitar with heavier strings, which I use to play songs in tunings below D Standard. Of course, with very low tunings there may be a bigger problem.

You can also use the pitch shifter function in Custom Forge Song Manager to create CDLC versions in E Standard/Drop D tuning, but the sound will be less than ideal. However, I sometimes use this when I have problems with recognizing notes in low tunings.

 

Lead scores

This is a good song, but the awful custom tones in CDLC ruin the fun of playing. Please do not select songs without tones for championships, such CDLCs do not meet the current standards for uploading to Ignition...

Not that difficult, I wouldn't give this a 7, more like a 6-6.5.

Agreed, was wondering myself about @ drand , her last post is like week 610 and expressed some frustration.  Hope to see her back soon, was great to see her and @ Vodka  pushing each other to progress.

yea it surprises me cause just from a quick glance the previous weeks didnt seem to be less than 3 pages which is what its been recently of posts and some were even 10 pages! (those must ve been funweeks!)

I  currently am  alsoabroad abd did bring a rocksmith cable with me just havent had much free time yet.

@ drand  we be missing u! Dont exactly recall either what happened? I kinda remember  you were transition either moving or switching jobs and then you came back for awhile and got promoted from intermediate to advanced in some paths (week 610 like @ robolechuga  mentioned) . If  you feel more comfortable in intermediate that would be an easy fix! Let us know, hope the best!

@ Daz40  from what i remember had an accident with a hover board, thats why you havent been here as much lately (hope you are better !) .

@ kayteck  thought you were gonna play more often! 😛 

@ Satinuke  if i remember correctly was a teacher so you are probably in vacations /m/ or starting school

@ lowender  havent seen them in a whiiiile either and they used to be pretty frequent.

@ pedropmf  comes and goes but its always nice to see him kick our butts

Hi guys!  I haven't been around for a while because my husband suffered a massive brain injury back in march and i practically live at the hospital. He's slowly getting better and I'm hoping he'll be home by Xmas. 

I'm going to try and participate next week but it will only be the bass path. 

I appreciate the concern y'all, haven't been doing too well lately and I tend to close off when I'm sad. Wish I was a little more Ozzy and a little less Linkin Park (IYKYK)..

Love the championship, feeling grateful 🙂 Every time I pick up the instrument I am amazed at how much it sounds like music 🥲
 

This song has a really cool beat, really fun and would be cute to play for my nephew

yeah.. me too.. but unfortunately i have only time to play once, twice a week... not enough to have a good practice.. and then.. i forget to upload screenshots before i leave for a weekend, and they stay on the  pc at home..
