Has anyone seen my capo? 😅

Grandma moment: This just sounds like noise to me 💀 maybe it's the tone lol

But I do love We're All To Blame by them!! and honorable mention to Fatlip, In Too Deep, Still Waiting, they have made a lot of iconic tracks

If you don't have one, you can make it yourself at home 😉 

In general, the vast majority of the chart can be played without a capo, it is only needed for a few notes.

Another great week. I don't think I heard any of the songs (and only know Sum 41 and Olivia Rodrigo).

Here are my first results for the week:

Have a nice musweek everyone!

Olivia Rodrigo - ballad of a homeschooled girl. Well, my RS didn't want to tune with my capo, so I used the Drop pedal.
But playing with the pedal was a complete disaster. Nothing was detected at all (36.8%) and it sounded like I was playing one fret away.
I tried to pass the tuner with a capo. My capo is very hard according to RS's tuner. But magically it fit well in play (92.2%). Hope you understood something 😄

 

Sum 41 - Walking Disaster. Cool song, fun to play.

  

Maanam - Szare Miraże. It was played terribly.

 

White Lion - Tell Me. It was hard but interesting.

Am I right in thinking you could use a pitch shifter up a couple semi tones instead if f a capo or would that not work ??

I generally have to tune then tune again with the capo on . Still can be hit or miss all songs should be in E standard 😂

I've never tried this but if I understand correctly it will only work for open strings. Referring to this week's song with the capo at the 1st fret, with the pitch shift up half a step the open strings should register as 1st fret so that's correct. But for example the note at the 5th fret won't be correct and you'll have to play it lower which can be difficult to play from the chart.
