I am guessing you mean submitting CDLCs for the championship? rather than DLCs as those are the paid official content that we haven't really used for the championship due to the paywall.

When testing cdlcs this is generally what I look for:

Works fine for me. the link sends me to mediafire where the download happens.

I'm using Firefox if relevant.

 

 

Ok, since my post about missing scores was ignored, I took matters into my own hands and updated missing scores from the previous week manually. The problem may be that the screenshots with scores added at the end of the topic were not loaded into ReacApp 🤔

The most significant change after the update is in the intermediate lead, now it looks like this:

So @ Satinuke  should win inter lead, sorry @ Vodka  😉
Apart from that, rather changes in the further places but may be important for the long-term classification.

Fun story. In Poland when I was a child there was a very famous cover of this song, but of course I didn't know it was a cover and I didn't know the original for many years 😆

Hiya, been a while since I last participated, I still spend most of my time with the piano instead
Built a new PC and can't get my setup to run, so made myself a little setup for now with my old PC that still works. 
Playing guitar once a week just for the championship is what I wanna keep doing again so I don't become completely rusty 😂
 

 

 

 

This is from the Anime "Bocchi The Rock!" which features more songs like that because it's all about some high school girls forming a rock band. It's a type of comedy that also gets more serious sometimes about the struggles of social anxiety and becoming more comfortable around other people. It was so fun and touching at the same time I watched it twice 🤯 And started to read some of the Manga afterward even though I usually don't read any Manga 😲 I can definitely recommend it if that sounds fun to any of you👍

Ah ok, I guess I missunderstood rodmans message.  I thought the "@ avastreg is on it and when it´s working we will update last and this week of course."meant to not touch it cause it was going to be fixed so that's what I did, I wasn't ignoring it and I wouldve done it manually myself.

Oh, apparently I missed that. But Avastreg probably doesn't have much time, so I think it was worth updating scores from last week now, and if he fixes ReactApp later, all the better.

It is CDLC, of course and I'm only doing the bass track (and possibly lyrics).

It sounded great! Great ambient/atmosphere. At the beginning I didn't know if you were doing only some parts or all of it and had to compare it to the original (I agree that the drums give it another flavor but I think that it fits well with the song)

Mistakes are natural and is how we learn and improve. The key is to never stop trying! I think it is good to timebox these experiences and not overdo it, or make them too much complex (and now I will probably make some experiences and do the opposite 🤣 )

Nono!!! I forbid you to use that video! xD 
I know its shorter but it is really outdated as it uses software new charters should NOT be using (toolkit) because there is no longer support for it

(also grats on attempting to make your first cdlc its always good to have more creators 🙂 ) 

Here is the video I would reccomend you:

its lengthier because it goes through almost everything in eof you need to use and its the most "up to date" tutorial for now. 

always pack the eof project with DLC builder.

If you have any doubts I would also reccomend you joining the discord server

 and searching the sub channels #creators or #eof as there creators are more active and will be able to help you if you have any doubts with the software.

I did use DLC builder 😅 (and TuxGuitar, UltraStar Creator)

I think I saw that video, but as most of I'm doing is bass, I skipped large parts 🫣

That a long indepth guide, I just wanted to turn some of Bernth Guitar Pro's files into Rocksmith (like Rodman has made his), though I'm on Mac so might be a little harder.

Oh i feel you! Starting out on that is like - wtf??? It feels so different out there alone without the backing guitar especially with a rather clean tone. The easy way is to go with heavy heavy sound which changes of course the whole spirit of the cover, the harder one is build up the confidence by doing it often. I like that cover a lot - please keep them coming. Going on the songs you have to play anyway is great, just sometimes they betray you as they feel so much easier in RS than they are, damn beasts.

I also don´t have time to practice other songs than the ones i have on my 3 paths so i just do my covers basically sightreading from the tab files 🙈🙉 . . . recorded my IronMan Cover yd ... hahahaha... so much fun. Whats missing is the solo - hope i find a few ´minutes today to seal the deal.

Heissa. Thx @ diceslinger  . That was a real song there to take care off..... No acoustic. promised.
Drums midi through a sound engine, rest is me. Tries to fetch the spirit doing a lot of squealies, started out with divebombs and tried to go really terminator mechanistic on the solo.... all parts played without practice, sorry, just started at 0:00 and played one after the other repeating until i was ok with it. I really wanna come back to that and do with like 10 hours time.
So - one guitar line (incl. outrosolo impro), one bass line, sang along once, did the solo and did opening vocal. minimal mixing (volume and minimal panning).
