As promised, I made a CDLC of Tina Turner's 'The Best' song and included it in this week's selection. Other than that, some interesting songs and fun charts to play, so have a nice week!

I see that when creating a new week there is an option to level up players.

 @ bobbyvenice and @ BubbleWrapDragon I confirmed the promotion, do you agree?

I did not see the promotion option for advanced class (something doesn't quite work), but I understand that:
@ Rodman  want to level up to the masterclass in the bass path.
Me and @ jellisjenius  decline the promotion and stay in the advanced class for the moment. 

@ Mikson  I love Frozen Crown!

I'd really like to play Call of the North on Rocksmith but there's no CDLC (and I don't know how to make one, but I might try if I find the gp tab)

PS: I used to play "The Best" live with my hard rock 80s band years ago (it was the only pop song, but our female singer was pretty great at that song and we played it a lot)

@ Mikson Yes I'm okay with promotion. I'll need to spend more time with the songs but that's only going to force me to get better which is the end goal anyway. 🙂

Unfortunately no, most were Queen Songs, then Scorpions, Guns, SkidRow, Savatage, Europe, and others.
I was a metalhead btw but that was the nearest thing I found at the time 😄 I know regret a bit not having appreciated those songs more when I was playing them

My attempts for this week - The big gap in difficulty for both Lead and Rhythm is right where I feel I'd love to work on. 
The Whitesnake song looks way too menacing, being so long and having like 5 different parts I'd need to sit down and learn, I don't think I can get a lot of progress on it this week. 
To be honest, the Frozen Crown song for Rhythm looks more achievable to learn than the Whitesnake one, because it's just one kind of pattern to master, even though it's really fast. but both are out of my scope, so I can't probably judge it well anyway, besides trying to get out of Rhythm Beginner I'm not sure what I want to do this week

It is an honor to join the World Wide Championship 🌏 this week as well!

Keep competing against @ Mikson  and @ jellisjenius  means it will continue to be a very tough battle in the Advance Bass Class.

I will be extremely happy if I ever manage to win! But I doubt it...😅  Anyway, it is a great challenge to get better. 

 

OK, so here we go!

Gave my bass a setup and lowered the action a fair bit, plays way better now. Feels like cheating lmao.

I do like a bit of madness.

Quite nice.

Oh yea pretty good chart. Might have to try for a 99.

A couple of my scores for this week. I'm only in the intermediate bass class but I had a blast attempting the mc whitesnake song! 

i coulda got a much better score but i didnt warm up 

 

Now I can get to work on a tribute to Tina.
