Just noticed this one moved to mc lead.  

I can swear that Cities of flame has slowed down since we last played it.  Back then i could hardly read the notes as they flew past and my playing sounded horrible.  Now it just goes by in a nice readable tempo and sounds nice.

 

 

Hey All, 

     I am a beginner and I'm not here to spank ass's in this media. Although I have He heee in Life!!!  The only reason I may have been mistaken for intermediate, is because I think  I had the highest score on the intermediate a week ago or so.  Some songs just come to me and others I have to work hard at.  Just about all songs I have  linked shots of, are first time plays. I Just Started this championship play, about 3 weeks ago, so I'm a beginner. Experimenting with fretless fender precision bass (New) kind 'a , and my fretted.  I've seen  jellisjenius's scores,  and think  (his/hers) are great!   Anyways Love a good competition!!!  This Rookie is still learning...  Have wanted live multi-player since I bought this game, that gives me some great enjoyment! Wished I could be F'n better at it LOL!!!

I have to question the difficulty level on this one, I have yet to make it through the hard difficulty in Score Attack:

 

 

Funny enough, this is the same score I had last time this came up, on Week 204. Which must have been that 1st Score Attack run, except that week I tried like crazy for a good run and this time I just did the same score with a better streak off the cuff. Time flies.

strangely i don´t have background music today in RS ... which is quite a good practice

I don't think I have ever found a better song to start practicing arpeggios with Rocksmith.  

Until about 30 seconds from the end, I thought I was gonna 100% this song. Sometimes you're just feeling it I guess. 

Different story here. Restarted a few time just because of the first couple lead licks 🤣. But finished strong. 

Wanted to try this one and wow. A lot of note spam 😆

This song is honestly from the debut (1972), not the Fire of Unknown Origin album (1981) as depicted in the artwork or Agents of Fortune implied by the year. I have no idea why both the art and year are like that.

I managed to get 95+ after some RR but didn't take the capture 😞 will try again later, fun to play but above my abilities for now.

 

Missed a note somewhere, oh well

Yeah, I agree, the 5 rating is too low.  I wrote this down as a 6-7, then when I was typing the week up I thought, "but it is about the same as the lead part, maybe I just suck as the string skipping", so I lowered the rating.  I played it last night, and I should have gone with my gut.  I must agree with @ZeroPingNZ it is probably a 7 and an advanced bass song.  It is a bit late in the week to move a song normally, but as it is a bonus song I don't think it would be a big deal.  Does anyone have any objections to changing the rating to a 7 and making it advanced bass bonus instead?

@Rodman , after your video was taken down I started trying to figure out how to do it such that mine wouldn't get taken down.  The past couple I've done the melody on have been flagged as ineligible for monetization, but not removed.  I figured the melody would get flagged for sure with this one, and I wasn't even sure about the chord progression.  So I messed around playing it trying to make it sound recognizable but not exact.  This is the version that jumped out, and I'm really please with it.  I have been working on learning to do more than just play guitar, so this was a big step that I could do spoken word while playing.  This is all one  take, a diaphragm mic pointed at the guitar, and a vocal mic for the words.  I adjusted the volume levels, but that was it.  We will see if it gets flagged.
