Songs seem to install fine but I get an empty room

Question

Hello All.

I have been playing Rocksmith on Xbox for a while, and just switched to PC.

I have RS 2014 installed along with Cherub rock.  I downloaded a bunch of songs and they seem to install  into the game fine (I can select them, hear them playing, tune the guitar etc), but when I get into the actual game part, it's just an empty room.

I can play the guitar, and see the sound waves coming out of the amps, and hear the notes, but no game.  Is this a known problem and I forgot something? (it's happening on every song I dload).

I do have  a bunch of normal DLC working, but not the CDLC.

Thanks!

Rob
