Need someone to help me test a song on bass

rummhamm87

Question

I need help from someone with heavy gauge bass strings. So I've been having a problem with trying to get the bass part to work on Curl of the burl by Mastodon. The tuning is ADGF and I did everything I'm supposed with the tuning trick to but people are still saying that it won't tune below +205 and then it no long registers the note. One thing I didn't think of before is how thick are the strings for the person that's using bass. It honestly might just come down to the gauge of the string being the problem.

here is the link for the song.http://www.mediafire.com/download/u4a556d9879cbz8/Mastodon_Curl-of-the-Burl_v7_p.psarc

are you sure you put +5 in EOF instead of -7 even with my guitar it seems like it's looking for A-1 instead of A0 for a note which will never work whatever the instrument you use.

Okay so i've got it to work correctly by deleting the arrangement in the toolkit and readding them without touching anything on the tuning part (just changed the A to 220) and it worked, seems strange, you might have touched something on the tuning part in the toolkit (most likely when he ask you about the new tuning).
