Quick Bit Of Help Needed To Get Xml Files From Eof

Yep something isn't working, and it's not entirely obvious what's wrong :P

 

I seem to remember it generating xml files automatically last time I tried it months ago, now it isn't, so help would be appreciated :)

Based on the screen capture, it appears you're using an old version of EOF. Please give the latest release candidate and hotfix a try and let me know if it's still not working, at which point I'd probably need the project (.eof) file so I could try to reproduce the problem.

Ahh damn, my version was old enough that the notes.eof is no longer compatible, gonna have to start from scratch which is gonna take a while, I'll reply again if I encounter another problem though, cheers :)

If you have a notes.eof that won't open, please send it to me. Whenever the project format changes, I ensure that older versions of the project can always be opened.

Ah sorry about that (would have mentioned this sooner but we kinda rushed out to catch the last showing of xmen), I forgot that you guys wrote a separate version, so after downloading the correct version it almost loaded aside from the sections and phrases, which didn't take so long to do the 2nd time round :)

 

Edit: To avoid making a new thread, may I ask what the phrase length actually does when making the DDC? I remember a value of 4 instead of 2 correctly showed the difficulty bar in game, but I have no idea why :P

I think it's something like a minimum phrase length. If there end up being too many phrases (ie. they're too short) a threshold can be exceeded and they won't work correctly in Rocksmith.
