how do i record rocksmith sound (scarlett interface)?

Question

im pretty sure its exclusivity mode fault but the game doesnt start if its set to 0 in ini file...but ill describe the situation anyways:

I have a scarlett and ive been able to play with it and without the rocksmith cable for a couple of months..

however when recording the gameplay i dont get audio (using windows g method since im win 11, obs, steams overlay)

i know at one point i was able to do a loop ( from what i recall...i connected a cable to the output and connected it to the second microphone entrance...) however that didnt get the best audio sound...

as seen video...i tried doing that again and wasnt able to xD and its probably the reason why i havent kept posting or creating cdlcs honestly..

i tried following other videos on yt /switching ini files downloading voice meter( although still havent learnt that one yet but then ive also seen other videos that say dont use it cause theres lag)

if i put exclusive mode 0 i get this error

" tried to initialize audio without exclusivity did you set exclusive mode 1 in rocksmith.ini? "

and it only gives me ok as an option ...after clicking ok it says

" no audio output device is detected please connect and enable an aufio output device then restart rocksmith 2014."

but i honestly dont know how i would setup the output as its not really in the ini file?
i thought maybe in the rs mods but the input and output are both focusrite

and in rs asio ini i also have focusrite usb as input and output so it should be fine?
if anyone has any clues or help thatd be great..
the alternative i guess is just reseting it to default and use the cable but id rather just use the interface.
