Is it Possible to Play 7 String Guitar?

The game can only display 6 strings max so it's more of a tuning guideline. Songs will just use the top 6 of a 7/8 string and things played on the higher strings will either be transposed up by the charter or pitch shifted.

There's an extended range mod in rsmods which swaps to an alternate string colour set for songs lower than a certain pitch, shifting every thing down so the E string is still red and making the low B string a dark green-ish colour instead, but you still only get 6 displayed in-game.
