Editing CDLC for Newbies

Hi.

I'm new to Rocksmith CDLC. Are there any step-by-step tutorials on how to edit CDLC? I keep seeing references to "unpacking the psarc file", but I don' t know how to do that.

You can unpack the psarc file by using the Rocksmith Toolkit.  I am just starting out, myself, so I am not the proper person to explain it.  But the tutorials cover it.

hello i downloaded a song from here, but i want to edit the sections for the riff repeater as it has a long part that has a couple of notes that i dont to repeat each time, i tried to import/unpack etc with the toolkkit ....but when i want to load the eof ....it keeps saying failure....
i did once but i dont know how i did it....maybe the file is "protected"?

Hi,

I have a similar issue. I would like to edit a Cdlc I have created. Basically, I have a mistake on one note and would like to edit it without having to start from zero.

Unfortunately, each time I try to do import the package, it tells me the file is invalid. This is the message I have from the notepad:

@ Tuc0  Have you tried using dlc builder instead of the toolkit? maybe that works better for you. one you install it and open it make sure to go the cogwheel icon/ preferences on top right click import and then tick create eof project and maybe remove dd files. then just import your psarc into it and it should make an ok eof project
