Is there a setting, or a way to make CFSM work such that you don't have to untag a song before editing the song information?  It's a minor issue but when you are working with a lot of songs the time adds up and I find myself making errors and forgetting to retag, etc.  TIA

No there's currently not a way to do what you want.  Because of how tagging works it must be removed first before editing, otherwise you would loose the original artwork.  So untag>edit>save>retag is the way to go.   You can make a special request to have such a feature automated over here.

All bug reports and help requests please include your: OS, CPU, AV, .NET Framework versions along with a description of the issue (include screenshots of error if possible).  It should go without having to say ... make sure you are using the latest build before submitting bug reports or asking for help.

Ok, thanks for the info.  For the request, it isn't important enough to waste time on.  I'd much rather see my other suggestion coded into CFSM.  Would I be better off putting that suggestion into the link you just gave me, or is where it is good enough?

Add any special CFSM feature requests into the Feedback form and submit for consideration.  No promises.
