Question

Hi guys

Previously posted at the end of the Mac setup tutorial thread but no response yet so thought I'd start a new post.

I have been through all the steps listed here: http://customsforge.com/topic/33889-how-to-add-custom-songs-on-mac/. Patch looks to have installed successfully, have purchased cherub rock and downloaded a m.psarc into the same DLC folder but can't see it once I launch RS (I can however see Cherub Rock).

I can see that the original thread has evolved significantly over time and TBH have lost the trail a little with talk of whether RSInjector/Mono is required or supported.

Based on what I have installed to date and the OS (Mojave) can someone please help me get back on track so I can finally play something other than the limited selection available in RS store?

Thanks.

FWIW, I just patched my RS 2014 Remastered purchased from Steam, running on Mojave. Original Mac instructions worked just fine, only had to do the "disable Gatekeeper" step and reinstall the tools after that. I did instantly run the Song Manager and then used the Conversion -utility under Rocksmith Toolkit -app to convert some p.psarcs to m.psarcs. Was also prompted about some update to the tool that I allowed to be installed. Ran Song Manager once again to verify that my converted CDLC songs were there. I had played the game already in advance and bought the required song. Did not launch it at all again until all of the CDLC steps were done. Everything works like a charm. Good luck!

My issue with CDLC is that sometimes, SOME of the CDLCs does not show up in the game, but others do.
I always use converter tool to convert files to m.psarc, I find all CDLC in Song Manger, I even run the patch regularly.
But some songs does not show up in the game.

Any thoughts??

I see this too. Maybe 1 in every 10 songs or so. I thought it was just a bad file maybe? The files show up in the dlc file and in CFSM as repaired but just aren't in the game. Is there another way to verify the files are good in CFSM?

I have that problem as well.

I haven't found a fix..but what I do is keep all my CDLC in a separate folder.

I move songs I want to play to the DLC folder..let's say there's 10 songs.  I fire up Rocksmith and maybe I'll see 6 of those songs.   I play a bit...then go out and take out the songs I just played.  4 remaining in DLC folder.  Restart game, and I may get 2 of the remaining songs show up now.  etc.  It's annoying, but they all work, eventually.  Must be conflicts between song names I figure.

@@Winsky3 Regarding the issue where only some of the CDLC show up, found something that work:

When you come to the "Home screen" and you are ready to "Learn A Song " or whatever, hit Esc and go back to the white start screen. Then Enter again and all CDLC is there.

At least this works on my Mac.

@@rockgodcash Did you upgrade RS2014 recently? There is a thread that you should not do it, as it updates to 64bit so it's ready for OS Catalina.

No CDLC will work after this update to 64bit. At least that what the Admin said in the other thread.
