high CPU usage and app not responding

Hi,

I installed 1.5.3.0 last night and let it run. I think (not sure) I configured it to do a full scan of arrangements.

Now, when I click on the application, the CPU spikes, and the application remains unresponsive for long periods of time. How long? I'm not sure. I let it run overnight and when I came back to it today, the app was responsive. But then I started a search, and since then, it's been running at high CPU and is not responding to anything.

I'm not sure if I should kill it because it's doing useless work, or if I should let it run until it ends. I don't see any logs anywhere. The console window shows the last log update to be about 20 minutes ago.

I remember that when I launched the application, it asked if I wanted to thread on multiple CPUs, and I said yes.

That's pretty much all I can say at this point. I expect to have to kill the process and start over, but before I do, if anyone has some advice (because this is the second time the app stays in an unresponsive state since I installed it), I would appreciate it!

@lduperval
You can reset to single core threading by going to >Settings>Reset Threading.   Then go to >Song Manager>Rescan>Full.

CFSM will ask you want type of threading to use and this select 'the old method' by answer 'No'.

The other thing you can do is to delete the My Documents>CFSM folder and subfolder and see if that helps..  Let me know your results.
