so, im trying to make a CDLC of the joe satriani song Belly Dancer, but i can't seem to import the tabs with Guitar Pro. the option is grayed out. is there anyway for me to fix this so that i can continue on with the song?

You are better posting in the EoF thread, but basically you need to be on a Real_Guitar track.

 

Song > Track > Part Real_Guitar

 

It will not be greyed out now.

thanks for the help, but I still need help with the distortions. I'm having problems as this is my first time creating CDLC

Everyone has problems.  It is a lot of effort when making them for the first time.

 

The toolkit can take tones from other customs.  Find a .psarc that you like the tone, and when building your own custom tell the toolkit to take the tone(s) from the other .psarc.

 

In the tones section of the toolkit, hit Import and point straight to the .psarc you want to borrow from.
