Tuning..?

As I've noticed; the tuning is always "preset" when i start making my custom in the toolkit. However, on a current song I'm working on the tuning is "CFBbEbGC", and the game recognizes it as D drop C.

How can I change the tuning to the desired one? It is as far as i know D standard only two steps down

Thanks!

The tuning is always "preset" , as you say, because it's basing the tuning on the EoF .xml that you're importing. You'll want to change the tuning in EoF beforehand so that Toolkit is "told" what the tuning should be.

You can find this by going to Track>Pro Guitar>Tuning. From there, you'll want to mark each field as '-4', as in 4 steps below E standard tuning for each string. EoF will then ask you if you want to transpose the notes in accordance with the new tuning. Chances are, your arrangement is already based off of your down-tuned tuning. If so, select no.

Once you do this (and save), the toolkit should recognize your tuning when you re-select the .xml arrangement.

Also, it might be best if you post these types of questions under the "help" section going forward.
