  1. Basically, I started this custom a long time ago and I just really don't have the time to complete it. I know several people "want it" - but I'll never get it to a point it is worth releasing publicly. Hectic work schedule and a baby due soon. So, below is linked my project directory for it. Please feel free to take it over and give it the quality release it deserves. https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=FB030CA7521D30F6!82950&authkey=!AJOAhI3ywRHisrE&ithint=folder%2cjpg You can also see some of the feedback given from the project as it was before I ran out of time for it here - http://customsforge.com/topic/18884-slash-solos-compilation-beta/
  2. As an example: (4:00-end) What techniques does he use, for the alien type sound etc. I've been playing for almost 2 years starting march, i feel like i should know this lol. His style is my favorite and i really want to play like him.
  3. Just thought it would be cool to have a thread for Jam Tracks. Here's one I quickly wrote and created using the awesome Band In A Box, a Texas Blues song called Autumn Breeze. You can listen to it and download it from here. I'll be doing these regularly I think so hopefully this is the first of many. The chord progression can be seen below: http://i.imgur.com/uGJuBfq.jpg
  4. Wasn't too sure where to post these but here is as good a place as any. The first video here is a handy way to learn how to play your scales up and down the neck by combining the different boxes of each Pentatonic position to make one big box, or scale map: This second one is how to combine the Minor and Major Pentatonic Scales into one box shape for each position, and of course you can (and should!) combine this with the scale mapping idea above: Not too sure what you'd call the scale...Pentatonic Mijor perhaps..? Or maybe there's a proper name for it lol    Please feel free to add more to this thread that you've found useful.
  5. Can any of you fine folks suggest any songs / solos that are strictly using A-Minor Pentatonic? I'm trying to hammer this into my brain before I move on, and I'm thinking playing something familiar would go a long way in keeping it there. Pre-Thanks!
  6. I have unashamedly 'borrowed' this idea from the official Rocksmith forum from Ubisoft, the original thread is right here (have used an anonymiser just in case linking to Ubisoft from here is a bit dodgy!) and full credit goes to P308R for coming up with the original idea! :D spiritofcat on there has done the following tutorial on how to record your Session Mode stuff on your PC, here they are: People on there have been uploading their tunes/solos to Soundcloud here. I've had problems with very low guitar sound the first time you start Rocksmith and Audacity but quitting Rocksmith and restarting it seems to fix the issue. I'm full of Prawn Balti at the moment but will have a go in an hour or so and upload something...but be warned - I'm a bit pants lol
