  1. Just wondering what the process is. or if one exists, to request an author to make changes to CDLC. I have downloaded some great songs but really screws with you when the wrong fret is indicated. (I play Bass mostly). For example, How hard is it to edit just 1 wrong fret that recurs in several different bars of a song? The one I'm thinking of is a Tom Petty song, I think "Don't do me like that". Wrong fret indicated in several bars - eventually the right fret is used later in the song. Keep Rockin'!
  2. Hello everyone, I need to know if there's a way to batch edit the metadata existent. For example: selecting all my game music (Mario, Zelda, Doom, etc. ), and editing the metadata artist to "game" and all musics will be together under the same artist named "game" As far as i know, i can only edit one by one, and that's a lot of work.... =/ Sorry for my english, it's not my native language. Thank you in advance. =]
  3. Hello fellow guitarists, I have some songs that I wish to increase the scroll speed on as the provided scroll speed is way to slow for my liking. I have tried importing the custom songs into the Rocksmith Custom Song Toolkit and increasing the scroll speed that way but when I try the new version the scroll speed is the same as it origionally was even though I have just changed it. I have tried two different custom songs that both required speed increases but neither is any faster than the origional custom after generating a new psarc file. For those interested the two songs are. -Fuzz Universe (2.5 scroll speed currently) -Silence Followed By A Deafining Roar (2.0 scroll speed currently) Both songs are by Paul Gilbert and I am hoping to set the scroll speed to 1.4 Thanks for taking the time to view this post. :) :) :)
  4. How can i make sustains like this in guitar pro ? Some of the chords don't have sustain as it should be. http://oi64.tinypic.com/29e0iu9.jpg
  5. Good morning, all! I am new to RS2014 and CDLCs but that has not stopped me from downloading quite a few songs. I think that CDLC is amazing and I'm really excited to join this community. I'm also a novice to intermediate guitar player at best, and I have a question about CDLCs with dynamic difficulty. I understand these are all user generated, and I expect anything that is basically a hack of the game to have some kind of issues, so I totally understand how these songs that have dynamic difficulty can sometimes not... curve out quite right. I have a few CDLCs that have a verse which, when turned down to 0 difficulty through the riff repeater, are easy enough to follow for a novice like myself, but then when it gets to the solo it defaults to almost the entire solo. Some songs, even when set to their lowest level, are still pretty close to the full song. I know the riff repeater can be used to slow these riffs down, but even this can be an awful lot to chew one and takes away the fun of playing through the songs in the progression mode one can do with official tracks. Is it possible to manually edit or change the difficulty scaling? There are quite a few songs that I would really love to learn, but when they are set to the most basic difficulty and I am struggling to keep up, there must be a way to tune them so that I can get more comfortable with the basics of the song. It becomes rather discouraging otherwise. Any assistance here is appreciated!
  6. I just saw one of my posts: http://customsforge.com/topic/16189-anyone-know-what-happened-to-the-file-manager-post/?do=findComment&comment=127133 was edited to remove the 'unnecessary large quote'. It was quoted in a direct response to that message, to let that person know, I was replying to him. you know. as one of the main reason people quote replies. But it got me thinking. just cause an admin feels like the quote isn't necessary. should they really be allowed to edit them? - Don't get me wrong, I don't care the quote was actually removed. but rather the point. and moving forward is that something we should be concerned about? - if the 'quote' feature isn't meant to be used, cause someone feels like it creates an unnecessarily long reply. then why wouldn't the quote feature just be disabled, if that is indeed the problem. also who's to say what is important or not from one person to the next? The bottom line is, I don't know if i care to post or be active in the forums anymore. if my posts can get changed, with no real reason behind it, other than someone feels like it wasn't important. I mean if that is going to, or can happen? why care to spend the time to be active in the forums anyways, right? I dunno. I thought i'd other thoughts on it, So what do you guys think?
  7. Is there a way to edit the songs that came with RS? I would really like to edit the tuning to Pantera Cemetary gates. it's a lightly off tuning of E Standard. it's close enough i don't mind just playing it A440 (I think is the standard). it's just kind a pain to have to Retune my song for that one song, then tune it back to play anything else. because of this I haven't even played it over a year. so if I could go in and change ti to E Standard. that would be great. Also is there a way to remove songs that came with RS2014, or the tracks Imported from RS1? Both have quite a few I have no interest in playing, so I'd to at least remove them from the songs list, but to remove them completely i'd assume would make the game load/play better, right?
