THANK YOU !! I've been sorting songs by artist or tuning for the past four years...didn't even notice I bumped the "alt" button for "favorites".

I haven't started rebuilding my CLDC library yet...My issue is that I have a purchased copy of Cherub Rock in my DLC folder, it shows as "installed" in my Steam library, all files are verified, but it doesn't show in my Song List when I open RS14. (Only six songs appear in my Song List now after I reinstalled RS14...I thought there were a lot more than that). I also have a purchased copy of Black Sunshine / White Zombie that is in the DLC folder / Steam Library but doesn't show in the Song List. I can't start messing with CLDC's again until I fix this issue.

1. I have legit versions of RS14 and Cherub Rock ...all game files verified and show as "installed" in Steam Library. 2. I "refreshed" my computer back to factory original settings and reinstalled RS14 / Steam. 3. Cherub Rock shows up in my DLC folder, but does not show up in the Song List. RS14 runs fine, otherwise. 4. I have NOT added the "magic" DLL file that makes CLDC's work...if Cherub Rock won't even show up in the Song List, there's no sense in proceeding further with the CLDC stuff until problem is solved. 5. I am not running any antivirus / malware / blockers...nothing... my PC is a clean slate. Why won't Cherub Rock show up in my song list ? (I wrote to Ubisoft a week ago ... no response). Thanks in advance for any suggestions...I've been pulling my hair out for 2 weeks trying to fix this.

Thanks for the reply. 1. Cherub Rock was purchased and shows up in my Steam Library as "installed" and appears in my DLC folder; however, it does not appear in my song list when I open RS. 2. I just re-installed RS14 through Steam, updated all my drivers, updated Windows, and no antivirus / malware programs are running. 3. I downloaded the RS14 Remastered D3DX9_42.dll file posted on CF by "Zephyrix" / Unleashed2k Admin and put it in my RS root file. 4. I used Steam to validate RS game files....they all are fine. 5. I downloaded 20 songs from CF in the correct "p.psarc" format for PC and put them in the DLC folder. Only 7 of them appear in my song list. (Which is a good sign SOMETHING is working...) but still no Cherub Rock nor the other DLC I purchased through Steam. Why are only 7 of the 20 songs showing up ? What am I missing ?

I've been using CLDC's for several years with no problems until last night my CLDC's started disappearing from my RS song list so I reinstalled RS14, confirmed I have a purchased copy of Cherub Rock in the DLC folder, and put the D3DX9_42 in RS root folder just like last time. Still doesn't work and now I've lost about 200 songs that no longer appear on my song list, even though they are in the DLC folder. Only the original songs show up and I'm pulling my hair out. PLEASE HELP BEFORE I DROP KICK THIS LAPTOP THROUGH MY WINDOW ! Thanks

Why the &^$@ did they label .dat files as "RS001SONG0000001.dat" ??? How do you know what song it is ? There's about 130 of them in my folder and I only want about 5 of them. There's a list out there somewhere on the internet that tells you which .dat is which song, but I can't find it any more. Anyone else have it ?

no need to convert .psarc files to .dat....just search / download songs from the "CLDC" tab at the top of the Custom's Forge page and put them in your Rocksmith "dlc" folder. You must have the correct D3DX9_42.dll file in your Rocksmith root folder and the "rs1compatibilitydlc_p.psarc" in your dlc folder for both .dat and .psarc files to work.

Fixed it...it turns out that my custom dlc's didn't work after I reset my computer. I re-downloaded the songs, reinstalled RS, and it's working fine now... my progress on each song was also saved. No idea how that is possible.

My CLDC's quit working, too. I reset my computer and reinstalled RS14, now they don't work. Tried the D3DX9_42.dll in the root folder and the dlc folder. Tried the patcher in both the root folder and dlc folder. Tried renaming dlc to "dlc-bak", creating empty 'dlc",booting, deleting empty "dlc" / renaming, re-booting... no luck. Connection to Steam and booting RS is fine...my profile loads in the game but no CLDC's show up on "learn a song" What am I missing ? Thanks
