@ BubbleWrapDragon yea definatley give it a go! i find it really fun to do and theres plenty of active people on discord that can help you out if you run into problems (i could try to help aswell if you mean transcribing into a cdlc) i find fret handing can eat up some time cause theres so many ways to play a riff (which is why i do alt paths) aka you can either do it how the artist plays it..efficiently..fun..complicated..mixed...etc and since everyone has different experiences maybe some people prefer shifting accross the neck instead of staying same position through out.. anyways, try leaving a comment on the cdlc page as sometimes they revisit the cdlc.

Its a horrible feeling when you dont remember the names xD the riff that sounds familiar to me in the sahara starts at 1:06 (spotify) to 1:38 ish i still think its a metalica song but i couldnt really find it... the closest one i found was sad but true at 0:23... but i mean.. its kind of a stretch, the only thing really in comon is muted e chord ( well since both are in d standard its d) ill keep looking cause im sure theres one more similar to it xD "I don't know what exactly you are referring to. another cool week! kinda odd arrangment but atleast the drum beat is stuck with me now lol yea...some notes dont seem right. but fun to play the vocals nonetheless. theres a riff in there that reminds me of a metallica song just that in a different tunning...but since im not a metalica fan i dont know the name of the song. also vocalist kinda reminded me of avril lavigne some times..like the same ish tone.. so i might check them out lol Love me some royalblood! they always have very fun riffs and their stuff is usually blast to play on the drums aswell xP Also really happy that it was rated as an intermediate song because i always enjoy harder songs in the levels not sure why some are int and some are advanced they all seem to be same lvl and no solo I will say though that this song is easier to get a higher score so i understand why kaytek and andes suggested them to be swapped. the fast run looks intimidating but its just going up the scale on different strings (which to me shouldnt be an advanced quality )...and it doesnt happen that often. In my eyes, both can pass as intermediate but thats just me xD Used to listen to a couple of their songs when growing up so its good to see them. for my tastes this would be a great advanced song..but i understand not alot of mc bass songs. at first i was like ah this isnt so hard then the solo came in and yeah..wasnt expecting that for a rhythm path

Yea i would think so too but we'll see rodmans and the organizers opinion. I agree that the last % will always be harder to get. But its rare that a person gets 99 on a class above theirs. i didnt play it so i dont know how hard it was but since it remained in mc i guess it was rated appropraitley.

My bad xD i missread for somereason i thought you were talking about bass but there was no mcbonus song for bass. regardless of the path i still think if a lower class does 97s or higher on a higherclass they should probably be promoted if they want to (maybe its rare you have lots of time to practice or play a song so that also might be why someone might not want to be promoted)..or atleast they will be moved soon if they keep playing good in their class weeks. Pretty impressive youve only been playing for 2 years grats! hope you keep pushing yourself to become better.

That's how i almost always feel about their songs xD For example they made this song for a game i play and it could easily be 2 30 or less aswell but its over 8 mins

what a fun week! loads of songs to play lol wolfmother seems to always has fun riffs shinedown used to be one of my favorite bands growing up had quite a bit of good songs or atleast songs that i would listen on repeat. i think the last album i listened from them was amaryllis had like 3 songs i liked. not much of a fan of this song sadly but its good to see that they are still making stuff.... just doesnt have as many dynamics or mood shifts or lyrics that catch on to me as their previous work did. one of my favorite songs from the game. hardly ever play it though because im too lazy to detune to dstandard/ dont have that many songs in d standard. but when i do detune it i usually play it cause its fun not used to playing with my pinky that much..i wouldve tabbed it differently to avoid that xD but its good practice and always good tos tep into uncomfortable territory. i cant believe we played this in september!! time flies. Really fun song to play love the chromaticsm riffs makes me feel like all those warmup exercises are kinda usefull now xD tried it a couple of times to beat @ aNDESmASAMUNE but eres demasiado pro jajaja doesnt seem to be too hard but i was getting alot of misses solo seems a bit tough

i remember that song being hard. i think there was 2 versions tho. one was harder tthan the other cause it was more full. dont know if thats the version you played though

Pppfff you know me, the old fart complaining bout ratings xD if i see a chart with lots of straight single notes or open strings and minimum fills i probably will spawn in the forum saying it should be int. Not sure what song i put begginer and it was advanced..then again i havent really suggested in a long time except for a knower song which i put advance but could be mc (not sure if i can change with the new system) .... I know that when i was suggesting them if i 100% first try it itd usually be begginer or low int . beg could also be like a 4 bar or shorter riff that just repeats through out the song...or a song with like 2 sections A and B like verse/chorus.... or a song with not that many shifting or string changing...or if they did itd be one of them but usually not both..usually they were short aswell...atleast thats how I thought I did the ratings back then. But anyways, yea i understand the situation. Im just happy to play songs in the championship regardless of difficulty.Although... Its always funner imo when i see rzrshrd get a high score and im nowhere near it

New scores on the updated karma chameleon! I think the lead is definatley more polished / more doable now and i like the tones more now. Still think it might bea bit harder than the song in advanced lead though lol.

used to play this song alot. forgot thats what the bassline was like. kinda odd but a great tune. thought he had posted a version without the intro and outro....maybe im remembering wrong. another classic! that being said dont really enjoy playing it lol. also gl for intermediate lead players...thats gonna be really tough imo to 99. dont think i would be able to. the bass in the intro is also tabbed harder than it needs to... so also kinda hard to fc. i think this should be more of an intermediate rating for bass and rhythm...maybe also lead but slightly higher..seems too simple for advanced but i usually think this type of metal should be on the easier sides since its just alot of power chords/ simple rhythms/ not many changes/ not enough filler riffs. i enjoyed the tab tho. Havent really listened to aerosmith much but i liked the bass! fun song to play will keep it. For me its rated a bit high...i would put it in high int or low advanced.

yea i agree, when it comes to slides /bends it almost always makes it harder to 100% on rs . I am kinda surprised you got more than 99% on bass and not on lead and rhythm though.. isnt it basically the same ?

had to try the masterclass song cause it sounded like el mariachi / pierce the veil bullin the bronx solo. barely made it!! but im glad i was finally able to survive in score attack mode.

reminded me alot of korn, i dig the outro the most lol. slides powerchords dont register for me too well tho seems kinda similar to the only song that i know from them tick tick boom (i prefer that one is more catchy for me ) but the guitar part on this one grew on me and now i keep playing it . so thanks for adding them this week, might check their other stuff aswell im not sure if this song has already been in competition before (i know other songs from them have) regardless, i used to play this song quite a bit! Its been a while (got 90s first eye sight so had to rr it for a while) and my pinky has been abandoned for some time, so its good to adopt it again.

i get too nervous in the solo but can play most of the rest of the song. really like the song never heard of them reminds me of alestrom. (not much of a fan of alestorm listening wise but ive had fun playing their songs in rs)

this song brought me some tiktok nostalgia.... part of me misses using the app because i found some really cool bands on there...but glad im not using it anymore cause of my scroll addiction its been a while since i suggested this, almost forgot that i had, but glad it got to the competition! i tend to enjoy @ Mystic530 s work .. he posts some nice funky tunes/ songs with good bass riffs. Would be cool to see him compete in the competition if hes interested. Especially as he is skillfull on bass, maybe he can give @ RaZrShReD some competition? lol. replaying it i do feel like theres some notes before the notes missing like maybe red6s ? regardless.. the main riff is there and thats what counts and is fun to play imo. interesting i think my sleepyness got me on this one. multiple sustains kinda hard to read for me cause its not too common in the cdlcs ive played but still nice to play
