One of his top three, for sure, along with Sign O' the Times and Purple Rain. The way he melded with his guitar was comparable to none. I think only Hendrix was close, and even then, I think Prince was more in tune with his guitar than Jimi was. Hi, How can I import slides where I don't play a note at the end of the slide? I use tuxguitar which I export to gp5 and I get a warning saying that my slides will only be on one feet. It seems I can only do this by editing each slide manually after importing in eof. Is this the case or is there a way to do this in gp5 so it's imported? Thanks, L

I found it!! For some reason, I was working on the medium tab instead of the Awesome tab. I copied the noted from Medium to Awesome and voila! Fixed! L

So, I tried reloading the arrangement, deleting the WEM and WAV files to force regeneration of the notes, and it still does not seem to take into account the new changes I have added. I'm not sure what to do except to start over from scratch. :/ There is something I don't understand, evidently. L

I assume you will be creating the tab by ear? One of the things I have found useful is to have a metronome track. I don't use GP6, I use TuxGuitar so maybe it's there already. If not, I add a track with eight notes that only play a closed high hat. Since many of the songs I tab are off tempo, I find it's very useful for complicated patterns. L

Ah, probably. I'll try removing and reimporting the arrangement. It's bass only so no rush of importing the wrong one. I did check EoF and the information is there. Reimporting shirt if defeats the purpose of saving the project template, though, if changing the EoF data requires redoing all of the steps. But I'll see tonight. Thanks, L

Hi, I am writing a DLC and testing it piecemeal. That means that I do a bunch of measures, create a DLC with it to make sure I'm on the right track, then go back to continue the song. Well, for some reason, the new notes and measures don't show up. What do I have to do in order to regenerate? Do I have to redo it from scratch every time? I tried deleting the WEM and WAV files and reloading the ogg file to get the new data, but that doesn't seem to work. What am I missing? Thanks, L

Hi, I downloaded the lates RST from the site (RocksmithCustomSongToolkit-v2.6.0.0-4174fc7b3141_PC.zip) and I got a warning that rstoolkitupdater.exe had a trojan in it. Is it a false positive? L

I suggested Eric Clapton and I played it over 30 times. But it bums me because it wasn't in my class... even though I found it much harder than Blue Hearts. Plus, both songs have the same difficulty rating. So can I make a suggestion: if someone suggests a song, and that song is chosen, can it be put in that person's class, especially if the rating is similar to another? I'm assuming, of course, that people suggest songs that they actually want to work on during a round. I'm not sure how exactly that would work. Maybe we can put our instrument level in our sigs or something so the moderators don't have to search too much to figure out what class the person is in. I had fun, nevertheless. :) L

Hi, i ended up setting the BPM manually and it seems OK now. However, I have another problem: When I import in EOF, a measure that has three quarter notes will, for example, load the first one as long with sustain, but the other two are short. It happens in a number of places, and not always in the same manner (well, I think). I tried changing my setting to not cut short notes, but then all the notes have a sustain and it's ugly. Is there a way to say that, for example, all quarter notes and above should have a sustain and the ones below shouldn't? Or is there a way to set the duration of a note when importing? Thanks, L

HI, Thanks for the answer. I don't have DD on the song. Do I need to set it in order for this to work? I can see in riff repeater mode that the highway goes by much more quickly and the notes are more paced out. But when I play in normal mode, though, they are still bunched up. Hi, I have a song where the tempo is around 154BPM. When I play it, the notes are so close together that I have a hard time telling them apart. How do I fix this? This is the first time it happens. Is there a formula for speed vs highway speed? Thanks, L

Hi, I tabbed a song in 3/4 using TUxGuitar/GP5. I imported the audio in EOF and aligned the beat map correctly. However, when I import the file in EOF, the notes don't align with the song. They are slower. I used the "Estimate BPM" function and it worked correctly, since the metronome aligns with the song. Is there something I'm not doing correctly or am I supposed to use a different approach when not using a 4/4 song? Thanks, L
