Honestly, starting to get a little frustrated chasing the 100%, so I'm gonna stop concentrating on this song and put it into rotation with a few other tunes - if I hit the 100% before Saturday all well and good, if not so be it. Pretty happy with my efforts overall though :)

Int. lead update: http://i57.tinypic.com/21kw7pi.png Made a mess of the little solo in the middle :( Was rockin' so hard I caught my strumming hand index finger nail on the high e and almost ripped it off ! Quite painful and I'm scared to play anymore until I can get a bandage on it, so that's me done for the night.

I think I'm supposed to be doing intermediate class this week, and BTO is the rhythm track. Wouldn't even consider touching the lead, way out of my league - good luck with it ! Early take on Tenacious D, lots of room for improvement. http://i57.tinypic.com/oab0h4.png

I've ordered a guitar from Thomann before, had no problems what so ever - shipped in a standard cardboard box with foam and arrived in perfect nick. Friends of mine have ordered from guitars from America and Asia as well with no issues either. I'd have a pretty high level of confidence ordering guitars online in this day and age. If you're spending big money though it wouldn't be the worst idea to order a hard case as well and have them ship the guitar inside the case. Haven't seen any reviews of the Diamond guitars yet, but I did see them covered in a video from this years NAMM show, the Ice Blue finish looks absolutely fantastic !

Delighted to see some Pixies come up, but I found it surprisingly difficult to nail the bends in this tune. Took more than a few goes but I finally got there ! http://i62.tinypic.com/wjx6k2.png

Giving it a bash now, pretty tough going to be honest, but hopefully by the end of the week I'll get somewhere with it !
