  1. Int Bass 97%, 124 streak Might I enquire about my name being in advanced bass with a lil " * " beside it, does that mean I should be playing in that class now or what? Oh pic btw :) http://i58.tinypic.com/24y0fv5.jpg
  2. Int bass, 99.61% 276 streak... just for points :p http://i60.tinypic.com/jgqmw5.jpg
  3. at last an eligible score :D Int lead 92% acc, 133 streak http://i61.tinypic.com/2uo59pk.jpg I don't forsee me increasing this much, really taking it's toll on my fret hand, may be best resting it :(
  4. No worries, I'll try and blast through it tomorrow, thanks :)
  5. I'd love one... 89% this time arghhh! I think it's the Barre chords, killing my fret hand.
  6. GODAMMIT!! 87% on Muse lead and it had levelled me down in 2 phrases
  7. Thats what I mean by economy picking, I think it (economy) needs 3 plus notes to be classed that, but it's the same technique. Or at least I think it is, but I'm a noob so what do I know :P
  8. Time for an "Oh bugger, I'm in over my head" question :D On the Muse song, lead path. Is it best to be using economy picking for the "D7 D7 G9 G9" bit? I think the answer is yes and I think I shall be having a pretty low score on my humble ascent into Int lead. ... frantically googles "Justin Guitar economy picking" :D
  9. Int Bass 99.48% acc, 242 streak. http://i61.tinypic.com/28sq0e9.jpg Think this should definitely use that "pour some sugar on me" rule or whatever it is called. I had never heard the song before, this was only my second play of it. Still if it's as easy on lead thats something lmao :)
  10. practically non-stop :D I keep making 1 or silly mistakes, then I get a random miss. Play it again, different mistakes, strings need retuned etc etc  Good practice tho :)
  11. beg lead, 99.14 acc, 205 streak http://i59.tinypic.com/2rc7fa9.jpg
  12. Strike that, played a few more times and although I got better scores, this is my best accuracy so far Beg lead 98.97%, 188 streak http://i62.tinypic.com/2nvuz2g.jpg
  13. slight improvement Beg lead 97.6% acc, 159 streak http://i59.tinypic.com/v824k9.jpg
  14. Beg Lead 97% acc, 128 streak http://i61.tinypic.com/3tu74.jpg Obviously my practice routine of "play Gary Moore till fingers bleed" works great :D
  15. I've kept plugging away at Big Gun bass, only thing I've got to show is a dead battery and terribly frustrated :P
  16. Beg Lead, 93% acc, 125 streak http://i60.tinypic.com/359y3vr.jpg Int Bass :D :D at last lmao, was spending ages at 80% speed on RR, getting nowhere really so had a go and..... 86% acc, 171 streak woot! http://i57.tinypic.com/kxmp0.jpg
  17. I asked about what they thought it was, apparently they can't tell by x-ray... dunno why they had me have one then... I have no confidence in any of the doctors around here. I did ask about surgery but they reckon that there's as much chance of making it worse... but then this is the doctors that had me taking co-codamol for a "sore back" for over a year before I cracked up with them and demanded an MRI scan. Better of with a google diagnosis, a bottle of brandy and a friend with a steady knife hand xD
  18. I think I've mentioned this before, but I've had wrist pain for must be about a year now. Anyway took 6 months off without guitar, done all their exercises and wore the wrist brace thingy and still get pain, sometimes manageable sometimes not. I'm on several meds already for my broken back / nerve damage and have been told to take paracetamol 20 mins before playing as there is nothing else that won't interfere with what I'm taking already, plus keep up exercises, with a referral for steroid injections in my wrist. That referral is at start of June, then whatever time if I'm suitable. Has anyone else had this type of pain / injection and has it helped or have you done something different to fix it? I'm not stopping playing again, it's about the only activity I have left to do lmao, well that and make a bunch of customs :P
  19. Big Gun, ran through it a couple of times, can't get it. Can't even get it to stay maxxed, downgraded everytime. Pathetic tbh especially seeing as I love DC and although not my favourite, I still know it well. http://i58.tinypic.com/os95pz.jpg Morisette, first run 87% acc, 106 streak... go figure :P http://i58.tinypic.com/346ukgl.jpg
  20. Big Gun... I'd have thought harder than Int level
  21. Hey all, I've got a i3 laptop that I am meant to use for studying BSC(hons) degree. It was provided by disabled student association. Unfortunately it really is a pile of crap laptop lol, typical public sector purchase. Anyway, it's really meant for me to use dragon voice dictation software for word processing for when I'm unable to get out of bed (broken back, much pain, sometimes unable to move at all). It came with Win 8.1 but 2 windows updates clashed really bad with a pci interface driver and slowed the thing down so bad, basic antivirus "quick scan" would take about 4 days to complete as opposed to the 5 minute sort of mark. I bought win 7 and although it is a lot better, it really is just about able to use the software needed, if i need to look something up on the internet or view a video at the same time it's really bad. Came with just enough specs for dragon, so when windows and word etc are added its crap. I don't mean to sound ungrateful but it really is not suited for purpose. What I am thinking about is installing word and dragon on my PC and using the laptop as a DAW primarily KXStudio looks pretty cool. I really do need the voice stuff though. libre office will do nicely for word processing but I am struggling to find any dictation software. There is a supposedly a wine port for dragon, but that runs into license issues, plus I've never really got wine to work well with anything. So if anyone knows of a linux voice dictation app please shout out :) Maybe some way of controlling the PC (win 7) from linux and use a bluetooth earpiece or something?
  22. Lead path is just a no no, seems I've forgotten how to Barre... or normal D chord or where the frets are or pick lmao Bass on the other hand is much better Bass int, 92% acc, 98 streak http://i59.tinypic.com/2cni2wk.jpg
  23. man my head is pickled, over a week with no practice and a messed head from study. Had a go at little green bag lead.... 55% lmao 16 streak :) Champion material right there  Think I'll give a few goes on the bass path, never heard the song before but it seems to have a funky beat :) Failing that I'll go back to practising Parisienne Walkways :) @@Kaijin any news on still got the blues?
  24. @@Kaijin Thanks for the vid, I have an assesment due on Thursday lunchtime so I will be able to start some good practice on it then, plus a new song or 2. Had to format my drive last week and lost everything I was working on so have to start over, one of the tabs took me ages to correct too :( Ah well, thanks for the walkthrough vid :)
