My $0.02 on the topic I only released one that I didn't test before (Laser Cannon Deth Sentence), and that was because i had no strings at the time. I tested it immediately afterwards. I know some of my cdlc have problems, but its minor (FWAM has broken ending, and two weeks could use a better chart for the chorus) The reputation I want as a Charter is "Thats the guy that brought in that really awesome song I used to like, I'm going to go learn it." I'm not striving for perfection, but I want the song to be playable and fun. I'll go for perfection when I work at Ubisoft and charge people for my DLC :P, until then 95% is awesome in my book

One of my biggest technique issues is that once the music starts getting fast and exciting i tense up, and that has caused some other problems in my wrist. I would just say relax and slow things down a bit, work on the fundamentals

Yep. Its a thing of preference. Some charters like to devide the song to 'lead' and 'rhythm' But I divide the songs to 'lead' first guitar, rhythm '2nd guitar'. In most of the songs it works like that, but in songs like Muse where I know for sure they only play with 1 guitarist, live and on album, the lead part is always the main part of Bellamy. Yeah ! Always update to the newest files ! If those bugs would be any major I would fix it asap. But im too busy atm, for the minor ones. :P Edit: +1 for everything @@Mortalo said :D As far as the whole Lead vs. Rhythm goes, Rocksmith defines Lead as "If you wanna be out front with flashy riffs and shreddy solos, then Lead is for you. You'll still hold down the groove with some chords from time to time, but when the guitar is out front, you'll be playing it." I like the idea of guitar 1 and guitar 2, but those should be Bonus Tracks. Lead should always have the main melody and/or solos. Hence why in my dragonforce custom I gave all the solos to Lead, despite my roommate saying that it'll make rhythm boring(which i disagree). But that's my philosophy as a charter, and I'm not the president of my country yet so, you can do whatever you want...for now bruhahaha > ;) So to clarify the version i have is the most updated version?

As the guy who has 100% in MM on both, while I like both versions, I think the ODLC is the superior chart in terms of correctness, people want to play Rocksmith to learn the actual song, not 95% of the song. This post is just for the sake of argument, I feel like there is a lot of hate on the ODLC IMO I cannot really tell much of a difference on the tones, I used my fender Bass, and Dean and Epiphone guitars to see, Not much i can tell.That's what the open Low D on the official track is supposed to be, and i dont hear the open A's anywhere on the song,Play it then and screw the score(Unless playing competitively?)Transpose it then?As a bassist, you should be listening to the drummer, not the vocalist :P

Yeah I've really come a bit into learning the theory behind a few genres of music, I had to actually count a few times for my score on MC Bass

Maybe start an official DLC division? There's enough to do 300 weeks, plus there's plenty of divisions for all just food for thought

You shure?I mean - it all started off completely regularly... Shouldnt we allow the official dlc too, this time cause its not ok anymore to dl the cdlc... Or is it generally firbidden to use a cdlc from the moment the official is released.... Thinking, confused, R Rechecking the official rules for that... Or make the song N/A and forfeit the scores for the classes this week?

Mine would be taking a lot of songs and play with them in audacity I love tuning a lot of songs a half a step up, down, messing with the speed, to get another feel for it
