So many songs this week Not sure which one I should focus on

Gave the song at 100% a try again, I'm only able to play the main riff at ~80% so far but RS recognition is also quite generous sometimes

@ Rodman My first try at that song - I think it's a harder song than Karma Chameleon was, especially with all the more uncommon chords and there are some quick changes in it as well. With all those breaks in there in a 6 min long song as well it's gotta be nerve-wracking when you're attempts are close to 99% accuracy Was that song a 5 as well back then?

I like beginner songs that are like this, where it's just one thing idea repeated and near the end of the song I learned how to play it This was harder than I thought for me It's a 7* probably because of the solo, but I might work on it this week just focusing on all the other parts and see where it leads to Not sure if the solo is possible to 100%it because of Rocksmith's recognition issues. It's all enjoyable songs

(..eventually) Thank you as well I gotta check that one out then to see if it's a similar difficulty, I think that song was before I joined It wasn't that tough in the end, just more of the practice I put in the weeks before was paying off after a couple of days of practicing for an hour. I was trying hard the last 2 weeks to rank up with the following songs: Psychedelic Porn Crumpets - Cornflake (6.5 diff) Sparton - Verwirrklichung (5 diff) They both had a little bit of a recognition issue so it was hard to get to 99%+ But I learned to play more accurate+faster with both of them

I think I can do the promotion this week as long as I keep practicing

I also think Lead and Rhythm could be treated differently from each other I think a good way to think about it is that rhythm players are expected to be better at complex chords and strumming patterns than a Lead player of the same skill. So when a song has complex chords it's a little harder for a lead player to play well on the first try, but a Rhythm player has an easier time with it. Meanwhile, solos/ and more complex riffs might be a little harder for a Rhythm player to play well the first time or in general I was thinking about something like that as well, I wouldn't want to host a week, but I wouldn't mind playing a few more songs throughout the week and giving them a diff. rating now and then. Having a discord or something like that might work too, automatically posting new entries to the server wouldn't be too difficult either and any person could just react to the song with numbers emoji from 1-9 difficulty. Could be also nice to chat about some things more easily. But having only this place for the championship community might have more advantages and is way less work to maintain. I'll see what I can do

I thought Rhythm would be the same as Lead but the end through me off

quick improvement I just need more practice on the second riff and learn how to finger that F#Maj7 chord (I was trying to barré it, but now I think using all 4 fingers might be better for me)

You're quite good at it already though, I think you could 99%+ this with some more practice (99% at a higher class should be eligible for a rank-up as well?) -- Meanwhile, my first try of the day is not looking quite as good, but I'll keep going at it

Trying the bass for the week

practicing with the recording on a loop is probably more fun in this situation than being disappointed with Rocksmith's recognition all the time --- I'm trying to get the adv. song up to speed, in theory, it should be easier to 100% it than the 'The Hives' one But my fingers still need more practice to become fast and precise at the same time, gonna try my best until Saturday

A bunch of stuff in here I need to get better at, but it's also the things that RS has trouble picking up even when I do it right in RR(high note bends, Chord slides,1/2step bends) it's a little discouraging sometimes I guess I'll have to try to rank up next week, as long as there's a 5*+ in int
