Warning! macOS 15.4 update breaks Rocksmith Remastered
BluesMcGroove replied to BiBer's question in Rocksmith Remastered
As mentioned in the other thread, Learn and Play has been available for sale since December, and is not compatible with MacOS. You will not likely find any updates to the game -
Rocksmith 2014 Remastered Back on sale on STEAM!!!
BluesMcGroove replied to GoatHerd's question in Rocksmith Remastered
The game has been available since December, the new release is not compatible with Mac anyway, they never built it with Mac in mind. You can call it whatever you want, but it's already noted that Learn and Play edition is not compatible with Mac -
Warning! macOS 15.4 update breaks Rocksmith Remastered
BluesMcGroove replied to BiBer's question in Rocksmith Remastered
Good luck. Ubi didn't bother trying to make the version they are still currently selling work for Mac. I'd probably just get a pretty cheap Windows PC to use instead -
Warning! macOS 15.4 update breaks Rocksmith Remastered
BluesMcGroove replied to BiBer's question in Rocksmith Remastered
It's going to be an issue with how the game is running. There's no other mod than using the DLL, and if the setup you're using to try to play it on Mac is crashing with the DLL built for both versions isn't working, then sorry you're out of luck. I'd hazard to guess since the DLL modifies running memory of the game you're not going to find luck the way you're attempting due to some sort of underlying Mac/Wine weirdness -
Warning! macOS 15.4 update breaks Rocksmith Remastered
BluesMcGroove replied to BiBer's question in Rocksmith Remastered
You just get the DLL from the game-support channel in discord. It's that easy -
It's almost as if you don't have proper info and are being overly proud and indignant. If something is removed due to lack in quality as determined by reviews of the staff of the site, during the report/review process then the only people at a loss are those that want badly made charts. Here's also a direct quote showing that nothing is actually deleted, anyway. But sure, I'm in the wrong lol.
-
I chat with the people who are literally handling the reports and what is made available or not on the discord. You can claim whatever you want, but you are wrong. Plain and simple. I don't care what you've been trying to do or what you perceive as happening, you have the wrong opinion on this

Debatable for some of the issues that get reported. But if you've been in the Customs Forge discord you'll know that there's changes to the report/feedback system coming. Limiting who can report is absolutely ridiculous, especially if it's a minimum of 10 uploads. 10 quality uploads is a lot Already not true, but again if you're not in the discord then of course you won't know this kind of thing. If it's something that doesn't meet the charting standards and the staff determines it needs to be hidden, then those "imperfect" charts don't deserve to be available

BluesMcGroove replied to Joker26573's question in Rocksmith Remastered
You don't need the song manager, just running the enabler from the Use CDLC link -

How many Real Tone cables is a safe amount?
BluesMcGroove replied to Shroud's question in Rocksmith Remastered
They're selling them new again because of Rocksmith +, and I've known some people that have the same cable from the original game still working for them just fine. I have 2 and both are still flawless to this day -

How to use Custom DLCs in RS2014 Remastered [Updated for 2023]
BluesMcGroove replied to Izzy's topic in Tutorials
There will be no files you need for the learn and play version because they haven't been updated for the new version -
Rocksmith deleting itself - executable and core files
BluesMcGroove replied to zxcv4321's question in Rocksmith Remastered
This is a very different issue from the original poster as the newly listed version of the game was packaged wrong on steam. There's an update for that version and it should be fixed -
Cherub Rock hasn't been needed for CDLC for about a year

Even in 2022, Toolkit was bad and shouldn't be used. How about instead of old videos that use out of date tools read the guide and use the tools on the top of this page, or the video (with input by well reputed charters/staff) for 2024
