In the interest of reawakening tryhard Gamut, one more attempt on everything: Little under an hour until new week hits, get those scores in if you've got 'em!

I attack the Advanced and MC!! Hiyahh!! Rahhhhh!!!!

Haven't been around as much as I should be - didn't play ANYTHING in last week's CS!! Such shame! :persevere: Let's put some more effort into this great batch: Sigh was one of my first metal bands and this track in particular is really ingrained in my soul. In week 92, when I played this last, I tried really hard and got 96.5 in the end. Two years later, and I can do a little better than that with just a little warmup. Come so far, and still so far to go...! Tired out my fingers with a bunch of new songs in D Standard, but still managed a little improvement here afterwards. Hopefully another try or two on these after some rest for the old digits.

Hunkered down and tried extra hard on Absolution today. Felt like I've been losing my touch a little lately, but that's the highest I've scored on anything in the CS in forever. Kind of a confidence booster! Let's see what else I can do this week. Downloaded Xanadu, but ran out of steam before I got back to E Standard. Will tackle that next session.

I know both these songs rather well, so it wouldn't be accurate to call these "first attempts". First attempts of the week? One of the most fun Ghost songs on guitar for me, the main riff is just so badass. Pretty easy for advanced, though that one chunk of solo is pretty fast. This could have been even higher, but I have a borked version of the file with the camera freeze and I couldn't read the high part. Not an MC difficulty song at all, barely harder than Absolution which is rather easy for Adv. But I do love new QotSA, so... eh! Looking forward to the Mr Bungle track, those are always a (confusing) great time. :D

Bit late to the party this week, but still time for greatness! Very shreddy for a Babymetal song, feels more like power metal than their usual fare. I dig it! Not super big on this song, might just leave it at that.

And of course I have to give this song a proper go. Couldn't get the chord slides to recognise, which hurt my ability to combo, but eh, sounded good! Not enough time to break into that incredible rhythm because I'm going to see Counterparts and Stray From the Path! :D :D :D

As long as you play all the right notes in the chord, Rocksmith doesn't give a hoot what fingering you use!

Having a pretty hectic week but I'm finding some time to get used to the MC. Ghost video coming! Gonna play the Adv for sure, too.

RRed the chorus and pulled 6% out of it. Now I just need to learn the solo and get a clean run and I might be able to pull another 6% out of my ass. :D

Where is Gamut? I'm not entirely sure, but he left these scores in his wake. (Been tunnel visioning on my stream a little bit too hard, where I mostly sightread lots of requests for songs I've never heard of, and I've kind of been losing my edge as a result.
