Gamut's back, baby!! And what a week to come back to! Ghost AND Monster Truck? Hell yeah. Just switched my strings, so let's start low. I've had these songs in my library forever, so I just walked right into Score Attack. I was worried I'd be rusty since I haven't touched my electric in a couple weeks..., but I wasn't that bad! http://i.imgur.com/vYb8V9b.png Singin' that song with my babydoll, and a little bit of weed~ So then I did Square Hammer, and it was going swimmingly. Gamut finally returns this week! Acoustic just wasn't the same. I'm looking forward to shredding it with you guys again~

It turns out playing with my nearly-broken cable really sucks. Gamut will return next week - with proper tone!

Was all psyched up for some sightreads until I found out that my RealTone cable is apparently damaged now. Rather than silence when I'm not playing, it instead sounds like there's a river flowing. When I play hard the guitar drowns it out, but when I palm mute, play harmonics, or even just silence a note, it barely registers and sounds TERRIBLE. WELL VIVA FUCKING FRANCE, MAN! Can tell there's still issues with the chart even after the fix. Always expecting a few notes that never show up.

I FINALLY GOT MY ADVANCE PICK?! *world explodes* This song's a big deal for me. Let me tell you about it. H.T. is the opening theme for Trigun, the first anime I ever watched to completion and one of my favourites to this day. It's a sci-fi Western about a gunman named Vash the Stampede with a massive bounty on his head. Everyone is convinced Vash is a cold-blooded killer, but in actuality, he's quite nonviolent and caring, if a little bit wacky. The entire soundtrack to this anime is mindblowing - a fusion of aggressive guitars and country. The lead chart to this song is a BLAST. Simplistic blues scales, yes - but they take a lot of speed and precision to pull off properly! Nice and short, too, so a little practice will give you a lot of percents. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do!

Sorry for AFKing this week, my computer problems are slowly getting worse. For the past couple weeks, when I play RS on my jerryrigged fossil of a machine, it won`t just lag and drop my accuracy - it will also crash the amp every 2-4 plays! :sweat: So go figure, I`m mostly getting my guitar fix on my acoustic lately. Might throw up a score just so I don`t lose diehard, but until I get the last piece of my new machine, don`t expect much in the way of competition from me. :lol:

Let me tell you, it was really hard finding a shreddy song that was both MC level, a decent CDLC, and also mildly Christmas related. This was the closest I could do, and I might have overshot it with the difficulty a little bit. Merry Christmas, MC, I got you a challenge! :D

"Da Capo" is a thing we used to do fairly often where we replay an older song to see how much we improve. This song got played last year, so we're seeing how much people have improved, or giving a second chance to play it to those who weren't here!

I keep getting weird bouts of video lag that cause me to lose a whole bunch of notes for no reason, even if I nail the riff. Luckily, the caroling has been so lucrative that I'm gonna have enough between Christmas money and my busking savings to get a new gaming rig! I am excited. Not very well practiced on the songs this week... but I'll see if I can sneak some Score Attack into tomorrow morning. :D
