  1. I've received pretty much the same response as you: "A specialized team is looking into it to solve it ASAP, as it is an important issue for us." I guess the more complaints they get, the more true those words will be.
  2. I couldn't agree more. Instead of looking for workarounds, we should complain as legitimate customers.
  4. I've tried the True Tone cable, and it doesn't work as expected. It shows as an audio interface and detects input (note detection works), but no sound comes out. As I've stated before, I always play disconnected, so this solution fulfills my needs. I guess that making the True Tone cable (or any audio interface) work involves tinkering with the RS_ASIO and wineASIO drivers. Sadly, tomorrow I'll be back at work and will not have time to try this approach.
  5. It's Windows Rocksmith, so Windows cdlc. You can batch convert your library with this: https://github.com/glebb/rocksmithconvert/releases/download/2.2.0/RSConvert_GUI-2.2.zip
  6. yep, Windows version with porting kit
  7. You were right; using this DLL worked!
  8. I've finally got it working using this DLL instead: Haven't tried the true tone cable since I always play plugged to my axeFX instead, but I'll give it a try later to see if it works as expected
  9. That makes sense. At this point, it might be better to put my efforts into making the Mac version work.
  10. I have no doubt the DLL is working, it must be something else for sure.
  11. Yes, as @ Sniper Reload3d noted, I've tried dropping the dll on the root folder of the game, but then the game fails to launch. Maybe the steam directx client is installing an older version of Rocksmith, and the dll doesn't work because of that. The build version is 16576867.
  12. The thing is that it's not the Mac version, it's the Windows one running on similar hooks Steam uses for the Steam Deck to run Windows games on Linux. Anyway, the exact build version is 16576867.
  13. Latest Steam version
  14. https://www.portingkit.com/ It's a way of playing Windows games on a Mac. Install Windows Xdirect Steam, and then Rocksmith. Sadly, I haven't been able to run CDLC Enabler yet, so only vanilla Rocksmith at the moment. It would be great if someone knew a way of manually enabling custom dlcs on Windows, without the need to run the CDLC Enabler software
