  1. That live version seems to be a simplified version of the song. At least when it comes to bass tabs. The other version I've played goes: A2-A2-A2-A0-A0-A0-E0^E2 (hammer on) and repeat. F# is part of both E major and minor scales and adds an interesting flavour when used as a passing note. But I suppose this simplified version doesn't do justice to that spice-up :)
  2. https://youtu.be/F-HJz9irqmI?t=59 Damn, he's definitely tremolo picking that part O_O
  3. Here we go. Took couple of restarts and beers to get it right! http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week262/bass/a06.png Good luck Toni :)
  4. @@Toni-Wan Kenobi I hope this is going to be at least a little challenging for you my friend :) http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week262/bass/a03.png I'm not sure about that tremolo-part at the middle. It doesn't sound right with tremolo-picking, not that I can get more than 3 picks in with the bass. I reckon they just activate a tremolo pedal at that point. edit: oh bloody hell. I didn't save the last screenshot. http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/facepalm24x24.png I'll be right back with more!
  5. Oh I forgot how much fun that was! Sorry, it is stupidly fast with those chord changes! http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week262/rhythm/i02.png I'm trying to do the strumming pattern as correctly as I can, but I do get random misses. (I reckon it's: root and full chord down picking, 5th and octave up picking with kind of a "ti-di-dii-dii-di-di-di-dii-dii-di" pattern.) http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week262/rhythm/a01.png
  6. I tried! 6k difference! I reckon if the last strum had been "perfect" instead of "good", I would have gotten it. but no. And don't worry, I enjoy the competition. We are always neck and neck at the end  http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/lead/i07.png
  7. With a much higher score O_O Robbing me three weeks in a row now  I'll have to give this one more chance after I have made dinner and eaten, if the competition is still running http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/facepalm24x24.png
  8. Wtf.. I was doing 40-50 misses at 90 and 95 % speeds in riff repeater before I went back to score attack to see if I can get 92-93 % at full speed. Then out of the blue I get 26 misses at full speed which even sounded remotely recognisable apart from the E5+palm mute sequence at 7th fret. Just astonishing if you don't mind me saying O_O http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/rhythm/m02.png Missed a screenshot of 96.38 % so had to try again. I think I'm on a fast-track from intermediate to advanced rhythm  That's a bit scary! http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/rhythm/a06.png Then some missing bass scores: http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/bass/b101.png http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/bass/b201.png http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/bass/i02.png
  9. @@Hughmonty Darn. Just one miss! Come on, you can perfect it :muscle: On other news. Gave the masterclass a shot as it was marked as same difficulty as advanced. So damn fast with palm-mute-wrong-way-around-slash-chord-combos  http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/rhythm/m01.png
  10. OH! I got this! http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/rhythm/a03.png That fast 11-13-14-13-11 bit almost always gets me.
  11. http://customsforge.com/index.php/topic/48475-rocksmith-2014-championship-week-261/?p=295713 @organizers: re-check this post please. My bass score post had messed up img-tags and someone updated the scores while I was fixing them. Anyways. Can't blame me for inconsistency. This seems to happen a lot! http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/rhythm/a01.png http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/rhythm/a02.png
  12. (Unfortunatelly!) Not a single Toni-Wan Kenobi was harmed while making these bass scores. http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/bass/b101.png http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/bass/b201.png Two notes! First streak is better http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/bass/i02.png http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/bass/i03.png edit: messed up the IMG tags, pictures were missing and score sheets got updated while I was fixing the tags
  13. @@Toni-Wan Kenobi Thanks for pushing me into getting the perfect streak, but unfortunatelly the score is not high enough. I don't get the same timing accuracy with bass note detection as I get with the guitar. Although, this is so fast paced that it's hard to get the timing right anyways. http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/bass/a04.png @@Ploutchsky that should be totally fine. I've done the same thing on multiple songs. Sometimes I've even changed chords to more comfortable positions. Tabs are not always made in the most optimal way, especially bass tabs tend to do a lot more jumping than is actually necessary.
  14. mkay, not so lucky :) http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/bass/a02.png
  15. pfft. I thought I had started score attack after checking those couple of nasty spots in this one. I was so hyped because I hadn't heard any streak end noises during playing, so I thought I must have gotten a perfect run. Guess this means a re-run! http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/bass/a01.png I think 99.8 means 1 note miss at some point. Oh well :)
  16. @@Toni-Wan Kenobi Looks like I won't be enjoying second place of advanced bass for much longer  Perhaps you should try testing some songs by Royal Blood ;)
  17. My intermediate rhythm got jumped over on previous page (third page) when updating scores. But here is beginner. http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/rhythm/b01.png
  18. This is such a pretty song :) Also forces me to practice the fingering of G/Cmajor inversion. Funnily, my index finger leads when placing fingers on regular open C, but on this one, ring finger and pinky are leading the shape. http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/lead/b03.png
  19. First try 99.13 (one strum missing) http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/rhythm/i02.png Then I thought it would be a good idea to do it in master mode. I was sure I could do it just by reading chord placement guides. Turns out I couldn't. So I spent half an hour memorising the chord progressions (C#EF#A, F#AEBF#A, ABC#, EF#AG#) http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/rhythm/i04.png 116 chord strums, nothing fast, sure they are barre chords, but surely this is 3 and not
  20. http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/lead/i06.png
  21. It might be easier if you are comfortable with bar chords. But most beginners have a hard time with them. I did not get comfortable with them until long after i joined the advanced class here. Now a few years after that i have no problem with them. :) Oh right. I started with A/E-shape barre chords, because open chords felt a lot harder :D Also found it beneficial, as it forced me to move up and down the neck to get the chord I wanted. But I reckon those bends of the Wonderful Tonight are technically a tad harder to play correctly. Especially since it has couple of pre-bends (although, rocksmith registers it if you just play the end-note).
  22. Yeah, I get that. Didn't remember the inversion term :) What I mean is that I found these inversions weird in the song's context. On one hand you have these pretty little A and E chords without their root notes and then you also get this bold sounding G#/C#min (or how ever you mark that).
  23. I reckon this is easier than Wonderful Tonight. http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week261/lead/i05.png I decided to miss a note or a strum 10 notes before a perfect streak http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/facepalm24x24.png I found it odd that the C# minor chord had G# bass note in it, but the A major and E major lacked root notes. Had a lot of time to think during the song, it had a really calm tempo. I kept asking when is the song actually going to start. The song sounds kind of pretty
  24. I know it's over, but this wouldn't be a valid entry anyways: Removed the 12th fret hammer-ons with regular notes and repackaged the song. Got 100 % in learn a song and missed one note in the score attack. Still same amount of notes as the original (315), just one technique less. http://u.meelo.org/.rocksmith/week260/lead/i03mod.png Ping @@Hughmonty
  25. Yeah, but it's always the same 11 notes. 96 % of the song works just perfectly.
