I'm running El Capitan so if it all goes tits up I'll just have to wait for a fix ....... You never know I might be alright if I haven't upgraded .... Fingers crossed

Thanks @@2groggy I'll try this later, I have done it on my other guitars but never bothered on the bass as there haven't been many songs that go down or up to the 12-14 fret range. the intonation didn't seem that bad on the E standard tuning but the D really throws it out. thanks again

Hi Everyone, I haven't tried my Rocksmith yet due mainly to fear but can anyone ie @@missis sumner tell me if the DLL. fix works on a Mac if so is there an idiots guide on how to do it ? well done everyone involved on fixing it so quickly :D

I haven't turned my Mac on after seeing all these posts, what's happened ? I am guessing that I won't be affected as yet as @@missis sumner seems ok..... Shitting myself now, don't wanna loose everything :-(

Yeah @@Rodman I haven't used 'emulated bass', since I bought a second hand Epiphone Thunderbird a couple of years ago. It's ok but goes a bit strange after the 12th fret, especially on anything but standard tuning...... I have to compensate by hitting the wrong fret to get the right register. The championship has improved my playing enormously and has given me the confidence to try the more challenging songs.....still loving it. Cheers

Evening all, well heres is my improvement. before championship........Rhythm after joining Championship Rhythm i remember when i first tried it my fingers ran out of steam and i just gave up, because i thought i'd never be able to play it so ...why bother.... so very glad i tried again, nice tune. even tried the bass..... more to come me thinks, night night all ;)

Hey I won intermediate Lead and Bass, not bad for a drunken grandpa hahahah Should be able to have a bash at the new songs tonight although my best score on Monster Truck Ryhthm was 78% but that was a while back, lets see if I can improve that.

Hey @@Vodka don't beat yourself up, that was a hard tune you were trying and you blew me out of the water. I was gonna give up on the Riverboat song because I had the same thing as @@Rodman even though it sounded better the scores never went up. Last time I looked you had the highest score in our class so to me ... I would be happy with that.... those bends were strange to me I probably hit about 20% of them when I played it. Cheer up have a beer and look forward to the new songs... I know I am Cheers

Last nights improvements concentrating on the Riverboat song only....... Lead scores depend on hitting the purple and green strings at the right time on the right frets and the double orange + green string bends, as the 'Da Da DaDa Da Da' bit is now second nature after playing it so many bloody times. but getting there..... Rhythm is a bit easier and I could do better (and still might) but happy with this score beating my previous best by loads.... finally the wrist breaking bass, a true test of stamina, grit and determination......... unlike @@Fraggle Baggle I have large hands but stubby fat pork sausage fingers so I understand the work involved to get a good score. i also blame my fingers for not being able to do solos as when i place my finger skilfully on the fret i want on exactly the string i want it also touches the strings either side....which i don't want. not such a problem on bass, which is probably why my bass scores are usually reasonable. still got today........

@@NoonyDeloony if ever meet the voice over guy he's gonna get a dry slap......'could do better', is the one that will finish him lol

@@Vodka it was just like the hangover movie.....still getting flashbacks....missed the hotel fire alarm in the morning, missed my Police man friend vomiting everywhere, missed the bar bill (or dodged it) but most of all missed the free breakfast !!! :angry: Don't know how i got home :crying_cat_face:.... still don't feel right, too old for all that drinking Anyway some scores tonight, River boat ........ not too bad to get a reasonable score but a pig to improve it..... AC/DC Rhythm, i really won't get the chance to learn this, so i'll have to admit i'm a failure and decline with honour.... while i can. but if someone said "Telboy in a few years time you will get 100% on an AC/DC tune on bass", i would never have believed them...... but, Ta Da

@@2groggy my answers to your pop quiz. 1, out with friends is an excuse for one night only, I woke up in a hotel on Sunday morning after a massive party, with no head ! but still had a little go on the guitar Sunday evening. 2, @@JamesPrestonUK is a legend and has the same record/CD collection as me (uncanny) and has on occasion distracted me from the competition with some brilliant bass tracks, but I have to be strong and resist. 3, no excuses needed as you'll still beat my scores hahahaha, (Going to download the Stranglers tracks tonight)

First tries of the week due to extreme hangover after a very heavy weekend, AC/DC Bass, who would have though i'd be playing this couple of years ago...... this song i chose because .....A, i like it and .........B, i can't play it as you can see i have played this over 30 times and my previous score was 84%, so i am getting a little better and as it is in the Championship i have the excuse to play it more. in the vain hope that i'll get even better by the end of the week. night night all

1st in Lead, Ryhtmn and Bass in one week I can't believe it and Ocean Colour Scene to play this week, can't wait to see if I am any better than my last attempt. Thanks for choosing this and hope some others enjoy it as well, Cheers

Probably my last post this week, unless i can sneak on here later, anyway heres my scores. then the Int Rhythm Then I found a way of making my bass think I was playing the right note instead of the wrong one.......just one fret out from the indicated twelfth fret and the dumb Thunderbird thought it was right thus letting me get a better score, this was only on the Eb (Red) string so I guess i have a set up problem, night night all Maybe :ph34r:

not much time tonight..... small improvements..... this should say 100% but my bass is a pig who hates me and won't play anything bellow the 12th fret if it doesn't feel like it. onto the int rhythm Still more to come on all the songs if my bloody misses stops finding me silly tasks which are 'more important than playing guitar' night night all

Nice score on Rob Zombie @@Vodka ...... I think I preferred you when you were on holiday :P I was concentrating on the Alice Bass last night which has annoyed me so much I have given up ! My Thunderbird has flatly refused to recognise notes, slides and perfect fingering to such an extent that I am considering burning the bloody thing. (I don't mind when I miss notes or play like a drunken toad with boxing gloves on, but I hit the bloody notes and it won't fecking register) Lucky I am not home at the moment or that bass would be toast !!! So if I get a chance tonight I'll be chasing the 99% my little Racoon friend has set. or maybe trying the solo that @ has posted.
