and another one....... i just can't help but improve tonight...... coming to an abrupt end though ;)

Off work early so got a little time for improvements....... this one hurts and is hard to get the recognition and timing right, and i prefer the smiths version. onto Layla bass...... then the Bee Gees bass Not finished......the other half is working late tonight.....and early tomorrow....Magic and Sparkle Christmas for her :angry:

@@2groggy you have given me a great idea...... When I was younger I managed to 'play' the first few bars of Art Garfunkel's classic, 'Bright Eyes' using nothing but my bottom and self produced wind. (I also did a pretty impressive impersonation of a British Rail train horn) So you got me thinking..... with the new update enabling the addition of the microphone......hmmmm....... <_< It'll need some practice as I can not as yet pass the tuning stage (I think I have dropped an octave over the years) but with Christmas coming up with lots of Brussels sprouts, Turkey, stuffing and loads of fizzy drinks I just might crack it........ Obviously I wont dive straight into the higher classes as this may cause a 'Fatal Tragedy,' but will start with everyone's first 100% the Black Keys - Next Girl .... Roll on Christmas P.S, Dear Santa can I have some new pants please :rolleyes:

hi all, here's tonight slight improvements...... got through the Layla bass without my fingers going on strike, followed by a slight up on the Muse / Smiths tune, then last but not least it's on with the black shirt, and white suit for the Bee Gees, night night all

after an hours rest i gave the Bee Gee's Lead a go....... followed by the Muse Rhythm which was a lot harder than i thought it was going to be (I'd already played the bass and lead before but not the Rhythm) lots of room for improvement on songs I am familiar with so looking like its going to be a busy week :)

Here's my first goes of the week on Bass...... Muse first as I love this old Smiths song.....this version is a lot different though onto the Bee Gees, which i should improve on over the course of the week........ Then on to Derek and the dominoes everything was going reasonably well until the end when all of a sudden my fingers stopped working, literally just completely stopped listening to my brain and just seized.

@@Vodka yeah it's all fixed now just needed re patching, ready for a new week

Latest improvement for the week ,INT Rhythm, and probably the last...... busy busy busy i haven't had time to work on anything else but i seem to have an 88% score on the Metallica song but i think it is a mistake, maybe the Sabaton lead score was mixed up........

I was actually joking when i said i was giving up for the week, however i can get the Mac to play any DLC's so it looks like my week is over anyway :angry:

@@Vodka just seen your video ...... am I missing something ? That looked pretty good to me, so much better than any of my attempts so far so as a result of this I am going to give this week a miss lol

@@Vodka I think someone just wrote a post using your name....... something about not playing this week....... you will definitely get a better score than me on the Int song so I don't believe it was you who wrote the post. However if it was you that wrote it and you have given up I will have to borrow @Rodman 's bat after he has finished with it :P

Here is tonights small improvements, in the Intermediate class....... firstly I won't be eating my Bass........ Secondly I won't have to kick the Mac up into the air........ only one X This took a bit of RR but i think I'm getting there, just need to work on the speed........ sounded like shit though and i won't be doing a video :ph34r:

here's my first attempt last night, the Sabaton tune is too fast for me but i gave it a good go........ Bass, (if i don't get 100% on this I am going to cover my Thunderbird in cheese, grill for 10 minutes and eat it) then the Rhythm which involved a lot of random finger action blindly stabbing at frets and picking at strings with the other hand.. then came the Lead, with tired hands and a dizzy head Rocksmith did this to me.... This is bloody harsh to say the least, I played the whole song then right at the end the ******* game decided to give me a load of XXX's even though i had done nothing different...... so annoyed i went to sleep without posting my scores.

Another small improvement for the INT Lead which has taken a lot of work, It is a little bit annoying to see others getting better scores with very little effort but I do have the disadvantage of being old and having arthritic gorilla hands and not the spider monkey fingers of some of the contestants, perfect for fretting one string without hitting a string either side. I think there should be a handicap system similar to golf hahahah no more improvements tonight I'll be happy if i get 97% tomorrow though,

(won't improve tomorrow) @@Vodka dont change your name mate, your parents had a great choice in names, mine did too but i changed my real name, but only because i didn't like my name my parents gave me.......all the kids at school would mock me for being called Jack Daniels. haha

some improvements....... I've played that a lot more than 2 times......hmmm something strange there me thinks and the Lead, only 2 X-X 's must be improving, i have actually got one X but the score wasn't as good, cheers

Hey @@Fraggle Baggle I get the exact same thing the bloody X-X-X's ...... usually just before the nice easy 44444 bit at the end, something in that song brain washes you into thinking that the colours and numbers are all mixed up. I think I'd be happy with 92% though.

Hi all, thanks to my favourite PC to Mac Converting assistant ;) i have some scores to post this week, firstly the beginner bass to warm up with, then Int Bass to shout at, this really doesn't look that hard but I'm buggered if i can do it, finally the ELO Lead which is a bit of a hand cramper for me, I'll get better on this once my big gorilla hands start to get supple again, and i'll get better on the Bass once my brain gets supple again, night night

I can't convert the ELO song for some reason....... get lots of numbers and random letters :angry: @@2groggy I'm with you on the J-pop thing....... been caught watching the videos .......hard to explain to the misses that it's for the championship ;)

been up the west end all bloody day then on to winter wonderland with the Granddaughter ....but managed to have a quick go at the INT Rhythm must sleep now as i think my feet are going to explode night night
