  1. Thanks for the reply cozy1. I have an AMD 64 Athlon X2 4800+ with 4Gb of RAM. I have my HDD always defraged, so that's not the cause of the problem. I think it might have something to do with the .NET framework version, since I've a problem with the Song toolkit auto-update feature and it's a problem with my PC, which I still couldn't find a solution. My save file works fine, it's just once or twice a month that the tone gets stuck and it's always when I play more than 3h straight, the same with the crashes, so I can "live" with that.... also, since I've used the "Repair" feature of your toolkit that game seems to be running much smoother, so it improved the loadings for sure. I'll so some more testing and if I manage to find what was causing the issue, I'll post it. Thanks.
  2. Your welcome @@Rodman, I always do that and it takes no time at all to upload the file and post the link to it :) I didn't create a NDD version of "Sky is Mine" because the DD was created using DDC v1.5. Although DDC v2.5 (current version) is able to remove DD created by DDC v1.5 and below, it doesn't work 100% all the time and what usually happens is that notes are missing in the NDD version. Despite that, I imported the package and removed the DD from the XML files, but when comparing the number of notes on the XML with DD and the one without it, I noticed some discrepancies, so I decided not to create the NDD version. So, when I don't post a NDD version of a custom with DD, it's because the usual method I use doesn't work properly. If anyone know another way to get around this issue, just PM me with the info, I would like to know if there is that possibility, since this isn't the 1st custom that I've come across with the same situation and I've never been able to properly create a NDD version from customs with DD created by DDC v1.5 and below. Thanks P.S.: I almost forgot.... you were totally right about the bass, it's unbelievable, I was able to tune to D standard and the note recognition was perfect, the strings didn't even looked like the bass was with a low tuning (no "spaghetti effect" like it happens with my guitar), I LOVE this bass, thanks to all of you once again, I never thought I would enjoy so much to play with a real bass. :D
  3. Thanks for the awesome work in the toolkit cozy1. I'm encountering a problem which I don't know what the solution might be. I've downloaded the latest build (v1.4.4) and I started to back up the profile files. Then I selected "Repair" and the app created 2 new profile files. I did this cause sometimes the game got the tone "stuck" and also I had some crashes every now and then. Next I used the "Sync" feature, so I followed the steps and when the toolkit is synchronizing, and when it starts to synchronize, after just a few customs, the application freezes, I have to manually close the process. I've removed the custom where the toolkit freezes, but I got the same result. After removing +20 customs, I realized it had nothing to do with the customs themselves. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks Here are some screenshots... Before I click the "GO" button http://s6.postimg.org/dmz5cew9d/screenshot_4.png When it freezes (it says complete, but nothing happens until I close the process and I don't think the synchronization is finished, since I have more customs... the total number of customs I have are 209) http://s6.postimg.org/onuahfoi9/Freeze_point.png

  6. Sure @@MilkmanDan, I'll start posting the NDD versions. Thanks
  7. Hey guys, I didn't post a link to the NDD version I made because I thought nobody wanted it and I didn't tried RR, which seemed to be the only issue, so I didn't post a link to the file. I always remove the DD from a custom, unless it's not possible for some reason, so in the future, if you guys want, I can always post the link to the NDD versions I make, just let me know. Very nice score @@MilkmanDan, I couldn't get more than 95.97% with the other version, let's see if I can do better with @'s fixed version :)
  8. I never use RR, so I don't know if it's working or not, the only time I open RR is when a song has DD to max all sections. I downloaded your file, imported the package with the toolkit, imported the xml files in the DDC tab of the toolkit, removed the DD, changed the xml's on the Creator tab from yours to the ones created by DDC, added the "NDD" to the song title and generated the package. That's how I always do every time I remove DD from a custom.
  9. The new Ska-P version seems to be much better, thanks a lot @. @@Joey's video also helped a lot, I manage to improve more than I thought in just 1 run... too bad that my high e string broke while playing another song and I'll probably only get a new set Thursday, so the guitar is gonna have some "rest" and it will give me more time to try to improve my bass scores. 10. 2 more videos I recorded of Creeping Death, Rhythm SA Hard and Bass Master Mode (I forgot to hit the record button when I did the Rhythm master mode run I posted the screenshot earlier today) I like a lot of songs from Metallica, but this one, I don't know, I just simply love it :D Rocksmith 2014 Custom - Metallica - Creeping Death (Rhythm - SA 98.97%) 10-23-2014 http://youtu.be/EB3AjW7tzR4 Rocksmith 2014 Custom - Metallica - Creeping Death (Bass - MM SA 98.35%) 10-28-2014 http://youtu.be/Zpvz0Ndy37I
  11. Thanks @, I don't know if I'll be able to test it today, I already spent 4h playing, but tomorrow I'll play it for sure and I'll post my opinion... and your language is not crap :)
  12. Wasn't easy to get a valid screenshot from lead IM, and no way I can play SA hard without getting XXX. Anyway, managed to get a little more than I thought I would at this stage... 14. Play guitar and now BASS too :D

  15. I totally agree @@MaZtoR, when I play songs like this, it's a total mess. Sometimes I wish my fingers weren't so damn long and more thin.... above fret 15 it's difficult to fret any string without the fingertip "occupy" 1 fret and 1/2... I think I'm gonna start "scraping" the extra skin I have on them  Thanks @, I will try that way.
  16. You're not alone, after reading your post (which I was going to ask the exact same question) and the answers, I've tried to play it like @@Joey and @ described, but my fingers are very long and "fat", so there's no way to fret the D+G+B without muting the high e. The only way I managed to get the chord ringing all strings was index on the 5th fret (it doesn't matter if it frets just the high e or the other 3 strings too), ring finger on 7th fret D+G and pinky on 7th fret B, but I take too damn long to fret the chord correctly. I tried all this without the game, just with the guitar, so later I'm gonna see if I can play the way they described and if the game registers the chords, although muting the high e means I'm not fretting the chord correctly, even if the game registers it, right?
  17. Some awful rhythm 1st runs and some bass SA scores... Rhythm BG: http://s6.postimg.org/o5b924i4x/RS2014_CF_Championship_Week_53_Rhythm_BG_1_64.jpg Bass BG: http://s6.postimg.org/bryev7sgh/RS2014_CF_Championship_Week_53_Bass_BG_2_99.jpg Rhythm IM: http://s6.postimg.org/bt8comua9/RS2014_CF_Championship_Week_53_Rhythm_IM_1_68.jpg Bass IM: http://s6.postimg.org/mhc3nh49d/RS2014_CF_Championship_Week_53_Bass_IM_2_95.jpg Rhythm ADV: http://s6.postimg.org/im8pkwl3l/RS2014_CF_Championship_Week_53_Rhythm_AD_1_54.jpg Bass ADV: http://s6.postimg.org/68vvdzvf5/RS2014_CF_Championship_Week_53_Bass_AD_2_98.jpg So, after playing the rhythm arrangements, no surprises, they are very low  Despite that, the Ska-P lead and rhythm I think it's easy (not for me), but I would rate it with a 2. Although I found more easy to play the Offspring song, the chord changes are faster and much more than on Ska-P, so I would give it a 5 for lead and rhythm. The Fishbone, well, I've never been so "lost" while playing a song, sometimes I didn't even knew what strings to fret .. but considering my extremely low dexterity playing chords, 54% was already a good score for me, I would rate it with a 8. Creeping Death, it's hard for me to rate this song, this is the 2nd week I'm playing it, although different versions, but the charts are similar and I have no problems in getting good scores on the song. That being said, the lead I would give it a 10, the solo is amazing, very difficult to play. The rhythm I find it very easy, but given the speed of the song and the concentration required to maintain the same rhythm, I would give it a 8. Thank you too @@Mortalo, I think now I understand how to rate the songs, I just wanted to be sure I wasn't giving foolish ratings. I agree with you about 1st and last scores, there's some songs where the improvement can be quite substantial. I didn't mention before, but during the time I was "away", I played (and still do) in a very small CS every week, so I understand perfectly what you mean. I usually record all the 1st runs I do on a new song... well, actually I record almost every time I play, so it's funny to see the video of the 1st run compared to the video after 6 days of practice, I've had a few laughs at my own expense several times  About 1 month ago I started to play in more CS's, so currently I'm playing in 4... here, the smaller CS I just mentioned above, a bass only CS and a CS called MMCS, master mode championship. I think I eventually will start to play better, since I never turn away from difficult songs (I mean difficult for my level/skills), on the contrary, I'll probably play this week's songs many times, since they all have the techniques I have more difficulties with. Looking forward to play the fixed version of the bass arrangement of Ska-P, thanks for the trouble @ :)
  18. Thanks for the explanation @@MilkmanDan, I have to play the guitar arrangements more times, although since I started 2 years ago, chords were/are my biggest handicap, so I'll keep that in mind when rating the arrangements.
  19. If I can give my opinion, although I'm still a newbie when it comes to play the bass... maybe it's because I like a lot to play all Metallica songs, but for my level, Creeping Death is pretty easy, I say this because I got 98% on the 1st run and since then I usually only miss 2 or 3 notes, so I always get 99.xx, usually 99.89%, which are 2 missed notes and the funny thing is that they are never the same 2 notes lol. So, for my level, the bass arrangements are in the proper classes, since I got 99 on BG, 91 on IM, 98 on ADV and 94 on MC, but I only have been playing on a real bass for a few days, so my opinion might be completely wrong, if so, I apologize. As for the guitar arrangements, it's a "strange" week in terms of scores/classes, since my best on MC lead so far is 92.52% and rhythm 98.97% (both scores aren't posted, since I got them last week on another CS). I only played the arrangements 10 times each, and I never use RR or restart songs, so I haven't played the song that many times to justify those scores, although this is common with Metallica songs. I will struggle a lot to get better scores on the lead BG (65%) and IM (61%), despite the fact that I only played each song 1 time, I know that I won't get the scores much better than that, if I can get 5% on each, it's already very unusual. The type of arrangements are very difficult to me (I haven't played any rhythm yet, except MC), so I can't give a rating to the guitar arrangements, because I'm really bad playing chords. I've seen you guys giving rating to the songs/arrangements, so I wanted to be sure how to properly rate the songs according to my level. I'll play the guitar arrangements a few more times, so I can give a proper rating. As for the bass arrangements, I think we rate the arrangements from 1-very easy to 10-very hard, if I got it wrong, please correct me, so, BG-2, IM-5, ADV-6, MC-7. Just my 2 cents :)
  20. Motive saw a video I recorded from another version of Creeping Death and asked me to post it on the thread, so here's the lead and bass arrangement... 22. I only know 1 song from this week and that's Creeping Death. The other 3 songs are new to me, I'm downloading them now and if time permits, I'll post some scores later tonight. Last week was an amazing week, now I can't stop playing bass  There's already lots of good scores and we just started a new week, awesome :D
  23. This I wasn't expecting at all... I've played the bass arrangement of Zebra during the week with emulated and I couldn't get more than 97.62%, that was the best run I did, so, today I decided to give it a shot with the new bass to see how below I was going to score. I played the 1st run fingering and I got 95.ish%, so I thought "not bad, just -2%", but I decided to give it another shot using a pick and in the end the game showed me this... Bass ADV: http://s6.postimg.org/7n5f8w79t/RS2014_CF_Championship_Week_52_Bass_AD_4_97.jpg I honestly was expecting a lower score than the one I had, but somehow I managed to play more notes on a real bass than playing with my guitar on emulated..... I'm in love with this bass, I think my guitar is gonna have a couple of days of vacation :D
  24. Thanks to everybody that posted, I wanted to name each one, but when I logged in now, there were so many posts, that I decided to give a "general" thanks, I hope you guys don't mind. Amazing scores @@Smile, both in Hard and MM.... I only managed to achieve something similar in the song "Metallica - Ecstasy of Gold" on the bass arrangement and I was playing emulated at the time, so now I have the chance to see how things are gonna go with a real bass. Like @@Mortalo said, "Seeing such a great scores inspires us to work hard. That's why it's so fun to be part of this."... he says it all :D
  25. Thanks @, @@Mortalo, @@Rodman and @@NoonyDeloony. I haven't had time yet to play much, but tonight will be a bass night for sure, I think my guitar is gonna have a day off for the 1st time in many months :D
