  6. I won't say the opposite, like I stated in the previous post, I think it's just a matter of the type of arrangement.... I don't know about @@bernixix, but in my case, both on guitar and bass, the part that I get completely http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-whacky011.gif is the "verse" (I never know how to properly call a section of a song ), with the open E, E7, A5, open E, E5, A4, etc. (I think I got that right...). My fingers just can't cope with what's on the screen, I usually sight read pretty well (but I can't say the same about the fingers reaction ), but this type of pattern just confuses me completely. I never use RR, but yesterday I used it to see what was the max speed that I could play that section.... both on guitar and bass, >80% speed, misses start to appear. I guess we all have our "weaknesses", in my case, this type of arrangements is a huge one. That being said, I totally understand if @@Mortalo don't change the current classes of the bass arrangements. I was going to check that myself.... I didn't noticed it while playing, but I agree with you, it looks like a mistake, I don't see any way possible to play that....
  7. I didn't said anything yesterday because I thought is was just me.... sometimes there are songs/arrangements from the classes above the ones I'm at that I can get better scores, but that's just occasionally, which I thought it was the same with this week's songs. Thanks for "voice out" your opinion @@bernixix, I wouldn't say anything for sure. :D As far as I'm concerned @@Mortalo, feel free to change the songs classes. :)

  9. Wow @@cozy1, that was more than enough, thanks a lot for the detailed explanation. :) Now I understand why I never noticed anything regarding the visual effects.... my PC is pretty old, when RS2014 came out I really thought I would have to upgrade mobo, CPU, RAM and graphics card. When the game came out, I knew I had to turn off all visual settings, the ones that didn't allow to turn off, I knew I had to set them to the lowest value possible to be able to play the game without losing performance. With the help of a program called Razer Cortex and 10% overclock on the CPU (Athlon 64 X2 4800+ @ 2.5Ghz, with the overclock, 2.75Ghz) the PC handles the game extremely well and I can even record ingame footage + webcam footage without losing much performance. I've seen videos from others and when they start playing a song, I noticed the background kind of "opening the curtains" and an audience shows up with light effects and such... I always wondered if the showlights.xml file had anything to do with it, you just clarified my suspicions. Sorry for bothering you guys with this, specially since it's a feature that I don't even notice/use, but I hope that, at least, this helped to improve the toolkit even more (sometimes I wonder when you guys are gonna stop implementing so many cool features :D). As always, if you guys need anything that I can help, you know how to reach me. :) Thanks
  10. Lead scores for now, the rest will follow.... 11. I apologize for my ignorance and also if someone else asked this before me..... With the latest toolkit build, when I import a .psarc, below the vocals it shows an arrangement called "showlights". (I still don't know what the purpose of that file is) My questions is, why does it show now as an arrangement and do I have to do anything with it? For example, when I import a custom to remove DD, I always import the .psarc, then I use the DDC tab to remove the DD (I never drag the .psarc to the DDC box, I always drag the .xml's), I add the new NDD arrangements in the "Creator" tab and generate the NDD .psarc file. Do I need to add/remove the showlights arrangement because the lead/rhythm/bass are without DD? I hope it's not too much trouble to answer those, I don't need any technical details, just wanted to understand a little bit about this. Thanks guys.

  14. @@albatross213, I love all the songs from B.B., so it would be hard for me to advise where to start.... perhaps others can give you better advice on that.... his major hits you probably are already familiar with them, like "The Thrill is Gone", which is a RS ODLC and it's one of his songs I love the most. Excellent idea and excellent song choice, thanks. :D
  15. This is indeed a really sad day.... :( I'll never forget the King and what he brought to so many million of music lovers, pure joy and love for music, specially the Blues!
  16. It's going well, should be only a couple of days until 1st release... haven't worked on it for the last 2 days, that's why it's a little "behind" schedule. I'm using .010's, like I've always used. I'm getting many more bends registering on the high e, I haven't got a score higher than 91.77% because I keep screwing up on the rest of the song, while the sections that I had most misses, now I get a lot registering. Tonight I played 2 runs, 1st with 90.24%, 2nd with 91.17%.... if I play it a few more times without missing the notes that I should be playing correctly, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get close to @. I really don't think the string gauge matters for the registration of the bends in question, or even the guitar pickups... my S520 has the factory pickups, some passive Ibanez pickups called INF1 and INF2, I know that most of your guitars have much better pickups than mine, most of them are active pickups, not to mention the EMG's :D Have you tried to change the pitch of the high e after the tuner @@Joey? That's how I got the bends registering much more than before, after the tuner I just release a little tension on the fine-tuner of the floyd and that's it, the open string, below and above fret 15, as long as I play the note/bend correctly, it registers.
  17. I really don't know what to tell you @@Joey, in my case I'm starting to get the bends registering the more I play the song. Maybe it's the guitar, strings, my ancient PC , I have no clue. I can understand your frustration, I would feel the same and I'm also aware that more people have the same issue, that's why I always record the runs I do, like the last one I posted, which has several of those bends registering without doing any cheating, just getting that quickness on the bend and raise the string to the exact pitch RS wants (since I've noticed that RS usually don't register the note when you bend the string in the perfect pitch, most times it's a couple of notches higher, others a little bit lower, but I'm talking about very small differences... RS seems to be extremely picky on the bends on the high e string above the 15th-17th fret, since on the other strings I never experienced the same total lack of recognition by the game, as long as I play the bend correctly).
  18. Thanks @@cozy1, everything is working perfectly and thanks for the new features and changes in the GUI of the toolkit, it's much easier to see the file names and paths separately with just a click on an "arrow" :D This tool, along with CGT and EoF are amazing, always improving and adding tons of excellent and cool features, many of them just to make our work easier and faster to perform. I and all the members of the community can't thank you guys enough for all your work in the past 4 years or so, many thanks. :D
  19. Thanks a lot guys, I was pretty sure you would solve the issue very fast, as always. :D EDIT: Just out of curiosity, the difference that I noticed in the file size from the working to the non-working custom was a very small showlights.xml in the non-working file? It's just that I generated a file with the new toolkit build now and the file size is even smaller.... EDIT2: Scratch the above, despite the fact that the size difference between the files is 6Kb, the file generated with the latest toolkit build is working perfectly, I just tested it. Thanks again. :)
  20. That was funny.... Ofc I'm gonna give my best, but I'm aware of my skills. There might be an occasional advanced lead arrangement that I can get a fairly decent score (+/- >90%), but that's sporadic. Most lead adv songs are substantially above my skills, nonetheless, I'll play them like I always do, with an extra motivation to push myself more, since it's the 1st "leap" in the lead path that I had since the beginnings of the CS... (well, not counting the 1st or 2nd week that I played in Beginner class and then moved on to Intermediate where I've been ever since). Sorry, scratch that, I leveled up 1 time from IM to MC a long time ago, back in the Smithy Anvil CS days, on the RS1 CS, RS2014 was not even had been announced that would be released, or even it's existence and I downleveled after 3 weeks. What I mean is that since about the time of the release of RS2014, I feel that I've been playing pretty much at the same level, well, not exactly the same, there's some improvements in some areas, but nothing compared to the 1st year or so, where the improvement was much faster, but I think that's how it's supposed to be... the "beginner" skills/techniques are acquired much faster than the "moderate" and "advanced" ones. We'll see how I'll manage in advanced, perhaps the extra motivation for having leveled up will push me to play even more hours every day and I might be able to gradually start to play better, at least that's what I would like to happen. :D I'll let you know in a couple of weeks
  21. I forgot about that  .... well, in that case, I think in a few weeks I'll be back in the IM class again :)
  22. Thanks, but no adv at all.... the only reason why I can play The Loner fairly well is because I've played the lead arrangement more than 150 times and I'm not exaggerating, you give me any other arrangement of the same "type" and I can't even get close to 80%, much less 90%. I'm where I'm supposed to be, in the IM class :)
  23. As far as I'm concerned @@cozy1, you guys can take your time, you already do a lot for the community. I've spent the day working on the custom in question, using the toolkit version I mentioned in a couple of posts above, so everything is ok by me, there's no feature on the new released that I "need" to get the custom I'm making ready to release. I edited my previous post twice, don't know if any of what I wrote is of any help, but it doesn't "hurt" to try :) Thanks guys.
  24. I don't know why the game recognized much better the bends on that run, I think it was the 1st time I saw so many getting recognized. I only use the real-tone cable connected directly to the PC, I don't even have an amp  .... maybe the game has better recognition with a "direct" connection, I have no clue.... btw, I'm just saying this cause I have the idea that you have a "system" with pedals, I remember seeing a picture that you posted with the connections, right @? So, here's the video.... (after watching the video I got a little angry with myself.... I missed quite a few notes that I never miss.... the score could have been higher and I doubt I will ever make a run with all those high e bends registering  )
