  1. @@firekorn I don't quite get why live versions are not allowed. They can be quite different from the original and are sometimes more in line with cover versions. In my case it would be an Eric Clapton live version, so you could even call it a cover (sort of). Where do the rules stand on that? Especially in a case like "Sunshine Of Your Love" that isn't even available for RS2014 and where Ubi won't lose a cent because nobody can actually get it officially.
  2. Well, that's true for the studio version but live versions are another matter. :D I already have one that I really wanna work on, so there should be a version of "Sunshine Of Your Love" in the near future.
  3. I recently released some older B.B. King songs that have DB parts. "Five Long Years" and "Bad Luck Soul" to be specific. I also released a few walking bass exercises and the already mentioned Bach Inventions that should be nice on DB as well. Some of my other customs have DB parts as well, so you could just look through the list to find anything that fits the bill if you want.
  4. Yeah, Steppenwolf is really underrepresented here, so I'll gladly send you some tabs. If you don't mind then I'll keep The Pusher for myself because I love that song and it's still on my list. :)Btw, personally I wouldn't chart the intro of Magic Carpet Ride because it's probably impossible to make it sound good in RS but they actually tabbed it out, so it's up to you. :) It will take a bit because I have to scan the tabs first. There's a few songbooks I haven't digitized yet. Also, there just guitar tabs, so you need to find some bass tabs for them or I can help you out as well, when I find the time. Just let me know.
  5. These are all songbook tabs. The whole point was to get those sorted out and to make them available as well. :)
  6. I have some Joe Bonamassa as well but forgot to add it. Thank you for reminding me. :)
  7. Hey guys, I think this might be of interest to you as well. In an effort to bring some order to my songbook chaos and help me figure out what Blues songs I actually have tabs for and how many of those I can still use because there's no ODLC or CDLC for the songs, I created a database of all relevant songbooks. Turns out I've collected quite a bit over the years (some bought, some borrowed and scanned, some found online, etc.); so many in fact that I would never be able to use them all by myself anyway, so I figured I could share them with you. Like I said, it's mainly Blues but the genre can be stretched quite a lot, so not everything is strictly Blues. I'm still adding a few things here and there and I try to stay on top of the status entries to make it easy to see what has been done and what hasn't. Everything can be filtered and sorted, so you shouldn't have any issues finding something specific. Also, if you have any songbooks that could be of use and are not on my list, I wouldn't mind adding them to my collection if you were willing to share. ;) Anyway, I hope this is of use to some of you and if it brings more Blues into the game than it was worth the effort. 8. I like how RS connects people, especially through the custom community. :D In two weeks @Bavarezkrd will come from Krasnodar, Russia to visit me in Vienna, Austria. We'll play some RS, record some music, look at the city and he's going to a David Gilmour concert, which is actually the main reason for his trip. We'll try to document all the interesting moments and I can post pics and videos if you guys are curious. Should be fun.
  9. As long as you can use your pinky for fretting whenever necessary and with the same accuracy, force and speed as the other fingers then I wouldn't worry about it curling into your palm because mine does the same and I have seem some fantastic players where the very same thing happens.
  10. In theory I find this to be an interesting topic if not necessarily an academic one because of it's highly subjective matter and approach which makes discussing it really difficult, so I doubt anything more productive than shared experiences can come from this if at all.
  11. I never had any trouble either and Zippyshare is extremely fast for a free hosting site. I don't use it for hosting my stuff but I prefer it to Mediafire.
  12. Thanks, Steve. Made myself a present and it should arrive next week. :D I'll post some pics then if you guys are interested.
  13. Which is exactly why this finally needs to be fixed or feedback on customs will plummet to an all time low if it hasn't already.
  14. That's what it says on the website. I was surprised as well but I'll keep their classification.
  15. "Short Skirt Blues" by Denny Ilett, "In The End" by Jan Cyrka and "On The Way" by Jack Thammarat, all made by @PC Plum have been added to the list.
  16. @@Alex360 Great, I'll put it into the list for now and will change the link once you released your new version. If you are interested in doing more Zakk Wylde tracks than I can provide you with other tracks from the same pack. :D
  17. Well, my naming convention for JTC tracks is very simple: The album name is just "JTC: Pack Name", in your case it would be "JTC: From The Vault", artist is the JTC artist, in your case "Zakk Wylde" and album art is the art JTC uses for the pack; you can find that on the JTC website: https://jamtrackcentral.com/store/series/from-the-vault/
  18. Cool, man. The more the merrier. I hope @PC Plum will be able to release his JTC tracks soon as well. :D What exactly is the issue with yours?
  19. "All The Way Down" by Dave Lockwood has been added to the list.
  20. It clearly states that it could not find a Wwise installation, so it must have something to do with Wwise. Either an unsupported version is installed or its in a location that the toolkit cannot access. Did you convert the wav file manually to wem or are you using the toolkit for that? It shouldn't be necessary to do anything with Wwise at all, apart from installing it, since the toolkit can convert the file automatically using Wwise command tools. You don't need to open Wwise at all; in fact I haven't opened mine in almost two years or so. What version of the toolkit are you using? Latest beta or an older version? I'm no expert and not a toolkit dev, so we'll have to wait for their input but that's what I would be looking into in the meantime.
  21. You are obviously missing an installation of Wwise, hence the error message telling you that exact fact. Install a compatible version of Wwise and try again. :D
  22. Seems to be working again. Thanks for the fix.
  23. Yeah, that happens to me as well. How about someone tackles that issues, now that the focus is not on migration anymore? This seems like something worth putting time and effort in because inexperienced users might end up not posting to record pages at all and are therefore not leaving feedback.
  24. @@GetTheLedOut Nope, sorry. It's not in my songbooks. I wish I could help but it seems I don't have anything that could be useful. :(
