Hello everyone. I updated to big sur and couldn't use cdlc no more.. nothing I did worked until I found and followed this video. Hopefully it works as well for you all.
I finally got it downloaded and installed after running Mac in recovery mode and disabling the thing it said in the other thread. Before it would say it's corrupted and need to be deleted. Now that I have it I double clicked and nothing happens. I waited over a hour multiple times. I also downloaded the song kit and it says I need to be an administrator and I already am on my computer. I need help. Please and thank you.
Yeah, something is blocking Mono from installing. It clearly has access to the library directory, but not the usr/bin directory. Maybe try one of these older versions of Mono: https://download.mono-project.com/archive/4.0.4/macos-10-x86/ I did a little looking online and it appears a lot of people with El Capitan had success using v4.0.4 That worked for me.
