New championship week will start in about an hour.

Ok for me this is 6 on the difficulty rating, so I will show my score but I don't want to be promoted. It's definitely too early for that.

I liked it!

I think this song is too easy to rate 7. Achieving a result above 99% is not a big challenge here. I managed to get close to 100% on the third attempt, but I don't want to publish my score if I'm going to be promoted to the masterclass. If I can refuse a promotion, I'll show it here. I also don't want to propose lowering the difficulty rating, so as not to block your chance of promotion if you want to :)

Rhythm time:

Disable dynamic difficulty in the game options. I also had the problem sometimes that DD lowered level during playing. There is a big difference in your screen between accuracy and the final result which suggests you didn't play 100% difficulty.

This week's bass tracks seem easier than rating suggests. The exception is Skyclad - The One Piece Puzzle, which ironically I had most problems with (I hit 96% on the first try, and then restarted several times while playing).

Sad news. I think as a tribute we should choose a song from his discography for the next championship week.

As for the Alestorm song, we used old version from 2014/15, but there is also a version from this year made by Teinashu. This version has both Lead and Rhythm which can be added to the beginner level. Start this week: The note chart is a bit running out but still fun to play! Difficult piece for intermediate - arpeggios, a bit of tapping, nothing very difficult but challenging. A strange song, it takes some time to feel it. It's not one of my favorite Metallica songs, but it can be played.

Queen - A Kind of Magic - on Rhythm rating it 3 wtf? I have no idea why such a rating, but it's completely wrong. This is technically difficult track, I'd rate it minumum 7.

Night time, Bass time... Bass is boring here, guitar is much better. Nice, but here i also prefer guitar. Jethro's songs are always good for every patch. Wow, bass is really good here!

Start this week: Hmm pretty nice song to play. Jethro is good. I've played this a couple of times before. I know this but never thought to play it :) I don't know this band, but ok.

I don't have the form to play quite fast pieces for so long. It was hard at the end but I survived :)
