Bass: I have a bit of a problem with that. Get too many misses on this repetitive riff Good song from interesting progresive metal band. Playing this is a crazy roller coaster ride. Great chart showing Tony Levin is a real bass monster. I recommend everyone to try it!

Rhythm scores: This chart is on a very similar level of difficulty as last week Scorpions song. Totally arpeggios chart. @ Rodman probably regrets that it is a master class this time

Do you mean Lead or Rhythm beginner? Because it's really hard to find something easier than this week's Beginner Lead song, where most of the chart are simple power chords. In terms of Rhythm indeed, transitions between bar chords can be difficult for someone without practice. Still, I find you let it go too easily

So we have a few more nice rainy songs to play this week! Easy nice song to play for beginners. I didn't know this before so always something new One of the more interesting RHCP songs from their later albums. I admit that I don't know the works of In Flames, although I do know the band of course. I really like the riff on this song! Ok, I know the challenge in this song only starts with the solo, earlier it's pretty easy and some people might get bored. But god damn, this song is great that you can just sit there and listen A beautiful heavy ballad. There are so many great songs to be discovered through the championship! Unfortunately, I can't play the God of Guitar song because I can't tune to B-Standard. However, I looked at the whole chart and I know it's ok. I just don't know if it's a clean 10 or a stronger 9 (9.5), but it doesn't really matter. Have a nice week everybody!

Haha I have exactly the same Ok last improvements: I tried this three times but still the same. About 100% accuracy except for a solo where I still lose too much... I forgot lead path from IM before. Now I tried Nacholede version and it is a very good version, sounds better than the old one. The song is a good, extensive composition that I like!

And better And better... @ diceslinger How do you play arpeggios that start with the intro? With a modified Dm chord and two notes on the 1st and 3rd frets of the A string. I have a way of playing this without taking my whole hand off the fretboard, just moving the index fingers (1) and little finger (4). But I get better accuracy when I play it like a single note without catching a chord, although I know this is not the correct way

Bass: Pitch shifter version does not work for bass. Strange but I managed on low tuning. This mixing up chords with single notes is not easy .

Improvements: First attempt in SA and the best score. I tried a few more times, but no chance for better. So GG, not this week. Oh, and the solo is short here, but I hate it Rhythm - step by step better. Finally got 90%

So you probably first time played Iron Maiden song on bass. Almost all of their songs I've played have bass chords

@ GeoAbraxas Thanks for making nice selection of this week! You just forgot to add info who suggested the song, as we usually do. I see you have selected 2 of my suggestions - Scorpions and Papa Roach songs. Regarding Papa Roach - Fallin Apart - I mentioned in the spreadsheet that there is a Drop D version - link to it here: https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/54437, because the original C# Drop B tuning may not be available for some participants. As for When The Smoke Is Going Down, the bass path is very easy there as far as I remember, so I think it would be better if it was a bonus. Have nice week everybody!

I was expecting you to come at night (in my time) and beat me even on all paths I wonder if you are practicing a lot outside of Rocksmith as I see a lot of improvement in your results lately? And playing November Rain without a strike was a really good attempt, I tried it once and was eliminated in the final solo. So congrats on great scores! I will try to improve the Bass today, maybe I can achieve 99% too

I just had no idea about it, and was suprised to find several people mentioned it right away earlier this week. After checking on google, I thought it was some kind of symbol firmly entrenched in the Western / US subculture. I don't even know among which bands I should look for songs for this theme, the first thing that comes to my mind is Greatful Dead. Also thanks, I'm glad you like the song selection this week. No problem for me, I'm glad you are still ready despite the various factors in life If you've read the first page of this topic, you know what's going on. I did not know about the symbolism of 420 myself, so I did not think that I could make a special week on this occasion. I know it takes more time to make a theme week than normal, so it's hard to do in 1-2 days (I spent a lot of time testing rain songs for this theme week). So I think either a few people will share the song suggestions for the special week and we'll do something about it, or you will make a normal week.

What about next week? @ GeoAbraxas are you still here? Haven't seen your posts for a long time. Will you be able to do a special week (stoner, psychedelic songs in 420 symbolism as mentioned earlier) or a week with regular selection?
