Oh, if this is sightreads scores, you're at a very advanced level. I'm unlikely to be able to achieve such results, but I will watch your competition with Luzifer and Cacahuate with interest.

From testing: Nice chill song, I like to play this, although the guitar chart is not very extensive and contains mainly chords. Another nice song, a single from the last release of Black Keys and again fun (for me) to play. Ah, that surprised me positively. I've only played a few Blind Guardian songs (in champions only) and those always been nice charts. The arpeggio parts and solos are in my opinion just right for an advanced level. New single from Metallica upcoming album. I like it somehow more than the first single. I must admit that I have problems with the main rhythm riff, for others it may not be so difficult.

Not necessarily. You can add songs with lead as the only path to the suggestion list. Same for other paths, but for bass we have a separate tab - Only Bass Songs. You just have to reckon with the fact that such CDLCs can be rarely chosen, because then it's harder to create a championship selection for the week. But the most important thing is to suggest good quality CDLC, especially CDLC from many years ago which are often not good quality in terms of chart/sync/tones.

@ cacahuate51 Yes, yes, I know you couldn't give up. If I was being mean I would wait with my update until the last minutes. Last bass improvement, I don't feel like I can get close to 99%.

Rhythm

Yes, every week a new selection of songs for all classes. The new week usually starts on Saturday late in the evening. Anyone can show screenshots of song scores from any class, but you can only win in class you compete in (we determine this based on skill). That's it in short, detailed rules are in the link in the first post.

This is 4 but can be played by beginners. The solo is short and easy, only those arpeggios (though easy) can be a challenge. This is rather an advanced class, I give 6.5. The whole chart is such solo licks. I once rated this a 7 from what I can see. Now I think maybe even 7.5 because these solo parts are uncomfortable to play at high frets. While I can hear the bassline in the background and I suppose it's fun to play, the guitar track is average for me. I think this is a similar level to the previous song, so 7/7.5.

Improvements In Rhythm and Bass paths I was close, but not enough. That's good, because winning without competing is boring. For fun one more time:

Rhythm scores: This turned out to be easier than I initially rated, I think 5, but 5.5 is acceptable.

I looked at the official tabs and they seem very similar to this, so the chart is fine. Good quality CDLC and nice old song. @ cacahuate51 Yes, it seems to be a synthesizer path retabed to a guitar. And @ Rodman I don't see any tapping in this chart, you just need to spread your fingers wide enough and use pull-offs. Yes, it's a really fun song to play. And another band that I discovered thanks to the championship, if I remember correctly, @ Gamut once picked their song "Raise My Sword' for the championship selection. This is a screenshot from the past, probably over a year ago when I first played this. Now I played it again with a better result. Tribute.

Yes, I edited the post and did it manually. If it's possible, you could make it happen automatically, because it's nice when players get notifications when they win.

I've checked how it's been done in the past - if you type tribute into the Songs Played sheet search you'll see that it last performed in week 245. The song was selected as a tribute in addition to the standard selection. So I added Beck Bolero because I checked these CDLCs and this one seems to be the best quality.

I forgot about that when I was creating the week. I haven't played any of his songs in RS so I didn't know what to choose. If you have a song to suggest, it can be added as a bonus tribute. Btw. I don't mean to be rude, but if you wanted some Jeff song, you could have taken this week.

Note. This week I created quite quickly, because basically tonight. Ratings may be slightly inaccurate, but overall selected songs should fit to the appropriate classes. Btw. Galneryus is really challenging (for me) but very fun to play on all paths!
