  1. Haha, it's even funny, because @ AndreCardoso has been competing in the intermediate bass class for many weeks. Is this a bug because both he and @ Flingleper are assigned to the intermediate class and yet their beginner class scores are still counted? @ Rodman @ kayteck
  2. Bass improvements & GoB Omg this is a 10 without a doubt, by championship standards. Much more difficult than the charts rated 9 we've played here and one of the most difficult charts I've ever played (basically, I was hitting the strings chaotically).
  3. I don't think I can do better, it's amazing that you are close to 99% here. Other improvements I finally managed to play this at 100%.
  4. Little improvement lead After playing this a few times, I think this may be more of a 6.5 than a 7 diff, as confirmed by the high scores this week, although I have no chance of getting anywhere near 99%. @ cacahuate51 @ BubbleWrapDragon Do you think this is 6.5 or 7? I don't want to change the difficulty rating at the end of the week unless you agree with me.
  5. Bass This is a bit more 4.5 than 5 diff. These quick jumps to the 12th fret and back can be problematic. Not technical easy chart.
  6. Rhythm A few quick power chords jumps make rhythm a bit more difficult for me than lead. Relatively easy chart, but just like in lead I lost a bit due to recognition in this tuning. A few chords may surprise you when you first play this
  7. Lead scores Really like this vibes, still trying to get 100%. Fun song, the chart seems not very complicated, but it goes quite quickly and it's easy to get some misses here, I thought this might be 3.5, but I see that others give 4.5, so 4 is ok for me. Another fun chart! I got a high score for my sight reading run, I don't think I'll improve it much. Lots of quite easy note streaks, I thought I had a better result but I lost some due to recognition and some due to my mistakes.
  8. This is not a masterclass, but an advanced class.
  9. The ratings may be slightly different in the end, because I didn't thoroughly testing all the paths in all the songs (especially the bass paths), but overall everything should be in its place. Of course, you can comment if something seems wrong. Have a great week and Happy Easter!
  10. No, because this is a different CDLC, the old one that was played in week 249 is no longer available on Ignition.
  11. Whis week is over! Thank for competing! New week started here:

  13. I'm currently creating a new championship week, it will start in about an hour!
  14. Yes, in the rhythm path the acoustic tone was even less clear because I used a different tone than in the lead. Previously it didn't bother me much, but now I use different headphones where I can barely hear the tone, so I made version 1.1 where I set the same tone for lead and rhythm and turned up the volume a bit. Available for download in the same folder.
  15. Guitar improvements I tried again but I wasn't able to make it better. Yes, 6 is the right diff rating. What's not good about this is that the score is determined by the part with the quick chord jumps between the 10th and 13th frets. Up to this point I'm playing with over 95% accuracy and this part is ruining my score... I can't even improve my first score from testing Slight improvement, I need to practice these chord licks.
  16. Bass Really fun chart, like it! My fingers are not ready for GoB yet, but I'm still waiting for GoB score from @ cacahuate51 who suggested it for the championship and rated only 8, so it doesn't have to be very difficult for you
  17. I tried GoG but my hand was defeated by these stretches. You have to practice a lot to play like that Btw. Where is @ Bottledpat12 who suggested this song for the championship, I haven't seen you for a few weeks, you retired permanently because it was too easy here?
  18. I see that almost everyone thinks the Backstreet Boys song is rated too low. I think this should be a 6, just like the Red Fang song, but here it's easier to achieve higher accuracy here with a repeating chart. Question mainly for intermediate players? Do you want these songs switched in classes int/adv or should they stay where? If switched, then no later than today.
  19. @ RaZrShReD I'm glad you liked it. When creating this CDLC, I used tabs from UG, but this tab was split into several guitar tracks, so for the lead path in RS I created something like a mix of these tracks (acoustic verse + chorus, riff and solo parts), but I modified the acoustic parts to have more solo notes, and left whole chords on the rhythm path. Ultimately, I am satisfied with the final result @ avastreg Do you mean volume of the tones? Tones are definitely ok because I spent some time on them and used the right tones for the different parts - acoustic for the verse and chorus, reverb with overdrive for the riff and wah for the solo. It sounds very good to me. Only the acoustic can be too quiet, I usually have a problem with this in RS, because when the acoustic tone is too loud it sounds worse, so I try to balance it. Other lead scores I thought Backstreet Boys in RS wtf? But then I played it and it turned out to be really fun to play
  20. I don't remember this happening when I played it yesterday. Maybe you've warped space-time?
  21. I see that you have been focusing on recording in recent weeks, good playing When I was doing and testing this CDLC, I found the solo to be really difficult, and you seem to have hit all the notes in this quick part! I see that you use your own tones/effects (not Rocksmith), I remember that @ Rodman once described here how it works, more or less, but I suppose that first you have to test CDLC and choose the right tones and then you just turn them on with the pedal at the right moment while playing?
  22. Info. I changed difficulty rating for the song Pulp - Common People to 2.5 for Lead and 3 for Rhythm. Earlier, I only briefly checked this and added the grades from the selection list, which were repeated twice, but in my opinion they were a bit too low, especially for Rhythm. @ gspot Last week you achieved the highest scores in the intermediate class (Lead & Rhythm), even though you are competing in the beginner class. Do you want to continue competing in the beginner class for now or try a higher class?
  23. So I assume you got a maximum of 60%+ on your first attempt and yet you rated this a 5 in song selection list I raised the rating slightly to 5.5 but I'm still not sure if this is too difficult for intermediate players. I expect rather lower accuracy scores, but it's certainly a great chart for practicing arpeggios, which are quite repetitive here (which is why I decided to leave it in this class).
