Your support keeps us running and allows us to keep adding these new features. I'm very happy on the state of CustomsForge & Ignition4, and we would like to keep releasing new features/improvements. The main issue is balancing the new features vs how much resources we have, but with the current state of support we should be fine, thanks to the community. I'm currently sick and recovering, so I am taking a small break from coding. Hopefully should be back later this week/next week with more improvements. There is a new forum spam attack happening that is using compromised accounts from previously hacked accounts on other websites. Out of precaution and to prevent old accounts from being used we've reset all passwords for accounts not logged in for over a year. We always recommend all users update their passwords (unique passwords recommended!) and use two-factor authentication for security. You can always check to see if your account has been compromised on another service by using this website: https://haveibeenpwned.com/. Our forum software was trying to send a notification to all users that have been reset but that caused our IP to be blacklisted for spamming... Ironic lol so I've canceled those emails and requested a delisting. However, that may mean that sending a new password reset request or account validation emails may not be sent. Hello Everyone, Due to Hurricane Ian and the increased expenses post-disaster I am unable to prepay for most renewals this month. I am located in Orlando which was in directly devastated hurricane. It's Halloween season! I hope everyone is doing well as I've known from personal experience the last couple years have been difficult. I just wanted to provide a recap and give everyone some updates: Rocksmith+ has been delayed Donations are no more, Patreon is the only current method to support CustomsForge If you're unable to support us via Patreon - disabling ad-blocker is another method of providing support to CustomsForge. Announcements Server Move With your help via Patreon we've successfully migrated our server to a new location with NVMe drives. Additionally we've split our servers to improve performance. This may take a few weeks to fully optimize but so far it feels better already. Newsletter The newsletter has found multiple delays due to trying to find a replacement method of viewing/displaying it without requiring an advanced editing software and the use of PDF. I've found a solution that I am currently testing and I am hoping to have the newsletter revived before the year is over. YouTube Our YT hasn't launched yet but it is currently on indefinite hiatus until we can find the best way to approach it. As of now, ignition5 has been officially cancelled. Migrating our current setup and moving the current features to i5 is too difficult with the lack of developers we have for that project. I would like to take some current features and rewrite them with the current setup we have now. Most likely a .dll issue. You can download CustomsForge Song Manager @ https://cfmanager.com and on the settings tab when installed select "Validate D3DX9_42.DLL" Additionally you should see cherub rock in the "song manager" area once it scans your dlcs.

Just released an update to help this. If you search that query will now be saved. I'm working on getting the sorting by letter in the history as well. Additionally we added artist albums list on artist pages. We plan on improving this with showing links in ignition4 as well to those said results.

We've launched the beta version of Artist Search and Artist Pages. We plan on improving this feature but this has been a highly requested feature since we moved over to I4. Record Pages (modal/full record) will show an icon next to the artist that will lead you to the artist page. The artist pages show the most popular CDLC, a list of all CDLC, and the latest releases. We plan on adding a list of albums each available artist has. Artist Search will be getting Search by the beginning of the letter in the future, additionally with more filters. All pages are subject to redesign and improvements. This feature is available via the "search" menu. Any problems, questions/etc please use #artistpages-feedback in discord for now.

We are still actively working on improving CustomsForge. I've had a crazy last month with real life issues but I am committed to helping improve CustomsForge & our Rocksmith scene altogether. Behind the scenes we are constantly improving CustomsForge all around. I had an idea not too long ago and @Ffio brought it to life already. We are testing a new program called RSDiagnostics. This program will be a simple exe that can launch and output a log, giving us a dump of information to help you resolve simple to some advanced issues. We will be beta testing this soon. Another thing behind the scenes is our developers @mithleshjs and @Zach4531 are rewriting Ignition into React. I'm very excited about this because we are no longer using datatables. We are using a new method to draw the table and it is much faster/responsive with more features. I'm excited and hope we can provide more info in the future. Other things we are working on in the improvement of CustomsForge Song Manger. We may have a redesign coming in the future. I'm still working out the details. I was super impressed when I received my VR headset and started using customs for beatsaber. The software they have (ModAssistant) was inspiring and we hope to update CFSM to be as user friendly as their project. We are always striving to make our tools easier for beginners and advanced users. Additionally, in the works we have our newsletter coming back, our first youtube video, and more. Because I was gone for a month I still need to work on these two and get the teams up to date, but I hope to have more news on our youtube channel and newsletter within a couple of weeks.
