So groovy, wish I could do this one justice.. the bass solo 😍

Thanks for antoher great week (I only knew Disturbed and Offspring).

First results (BASS):

 

I had played the Disturbed song, but there was something weird with the tuning (I think) or my 5 string bass 🤷‍♂️

I think I applied something for 5 string bass to another song so I could tune the bass. Anyone else with the same problem?

Much better now that the low B is recognized 😅

My beginner scores from last week didn't get counted 😧 

Off to the new week. I am not sure how pop punk bands had the forearm stamina for songs like this.

I can't figure out what's wrong with the tuning for bass on Land of Confusion but something ain't right like @ ALSRC was saying, can't play it

I love bass (picked)

I cry when bass (fingered)

epic, wish my bass tone was half as punchy

Ratings are all good except I'd argue Telltale - Rainbow feels out of place in intermediate but depends what genres you like and are used to I guess

We need YOU to help keeping the weekly Championship alive!

Please volunteer on starting the weekly challenge like every 4-6 weeks. Actually its only 3 of use ... t-h-r-e-e ..... and that leads to delays and potentially rushed picks which is subpar to our standards. I cannot thank our allstars @ Mikson  and @ cacahuate51  enough for fighting with me for the thing week after week and keeping it up without a single miss for so many years.

The system is really really optimised and automated to make it nice and easy. The effort is moreless testing the songs for difficulty and quality - meaning playing through the selected songs to have them in right order. Do not not take the job because you think you cannot rate songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the fix (for me) was relatively easy. 

I followed (more or less) what I read in 

 

 

But basically it's importing the PSARC in Rocksmith 2014 DLC Builder, changing the tuning pitch to A220 (instead of A440) and adjusting the tuning (from negative 6 to positive 6).

Could you please share the edited file? I tried doing it myself, but I can't seem to get it right (Rocksmith doesn't recognize the DLC afterwards).

this one was unexpectedly harder than i thought it was gonna be, id probably rate it a 6 but idm it being 5.5 for the challenge


Cool song, not really into ska or this type of music generally but i enjoyed it. I do think the rating is a bit high as theres not that many sections and its not too complex (although the blue open string always throws me off). Id say anywhere from 7 to 7.5... but i guess 8 is fine although i dont really see it being that hard.

I checked it, and last week you added one screenshot with score, but unfortunately it didn't meet the championship rules because it didn't show accuracy 😕

This week you did it correctly 🙂

I played this for a quick test, and at first glance seemed like a 6 for me too, but I thought this might be a good challenge for intermediate players, so I left this with Daz suggested diff 5.5. Besides, I was in a hurry and didn't want to try another song 😆

Now everyone's saying this is so hard, so I'll change diff rating to 6, but leave it in intermediate because sometimes challenge is a good thing 😉
