Just did a quick sightread for the rest, because obviously few artists can match the excitement of the Venga Boys. (Man, I'm gonna have nightmares about that opening with the bus horn  😅)

The PRS Jr. came out pretty cool - 3D Printed the pickup cover to give it a little color pop and match the pickguard.  Maybe some custom knobs in the future.

Late Bass

Rather easy the first three charts.

Now disco classic. At first I thought this was advanced, then I saw diff rating 😆

6 for me.

If others who posted in the first two pages/dont see their scores on the score table could repost their scores that would be great (aka just copy paste your image links to a new post).

The creators of the automatic score recognition have yet to reply so it seems like it probably won't get fixed this weekend.

I just added them manually since it was something that i caused. the first 2 pages should be back on the list.

So ..... that´s already quite a project .... 13 tracks needed. What did i do?

Dreams about arpeggiounicorns that drop the riders over and over...
Midi drumline for a start.... and started recording Clean Guitars.... Bass.... Lead Guitars ... Rhy Guitars .... Missing parts

I followed the original tabs closely until the end, there i had to do some stuff of my own.

Vocals Pah.... before i even started to do recordings my voice began do decay .... really really hard there.

Threw that all into Reaper, heavy mixing - panning on the guitars that are doubled most of the time (not copied, played twice) to open the space for teh voice, experiments on the drums - ended up using that wonderful IK Modo Drums Plugin - chose the Studio Kit for that one.
About no effects used, i really should on the vocals maybe, yeah.

Phenomenal Rodman, I love how you push things to be bigger and better.  You are fearless!  Really enjoyed this, glad you are doing more with mixing and all that.  I don't know man, just wow!  It feels like a complete production!

If you are liking the Modo Drums, Humble Bundle has a Ultimate Music Production bundle with six or seven drum kits and some bass kits for Modo Bass.  The T-Racks plugins are super useful too.  The bundle is only $30, quite the value in my opinion.

I'm just coming up for air from my 3d printed guitar project, so I have some covers to go back and listen to!  Keep up the great work everyone!

Same here, I’m burned out and when I’ve been playing I’m trying to focus on practising just getting better faster cleaner rather than just playing song.

Ah man! Thank you so much! That one was really pushing my limits there..... i am learning so much doing that stuff... it´s incredible. It pushes my playing really. Any week i do a cover the song of the week seems clearer to play.

Can´t wait to have you back full force here throwing in your covers and kickin some!

For the HumbleBundle - thanks yeah that´s exactly from where i gotr modo drums and bass and all the phenomenal instrtuments from SampleTank 4.... I shall be throwing in some someday maybe....

Seeing as one of the songs I had requested was chosen this week it was my main focus but I gave the others at least one go, masterclass was a bit crazy to say the least...

Hadn't heard of these guys, fun little song but I had bigger fish to fry!

Hadn't heard of these guys either but again, enjoyed this song. Finger positions threw me on the first playthrough but got my head around it on the second one.

MCR were one of the bands of my teenage years and I was very lucky to see them in Dublin for their reunion tour back in 2022; they put on one hell of show.

They got a lot of hate when they came on the scene which was mainly down to their image but, as I think most of you guys found out this week, they know their way around the guitar! Ray Toro's chord voicings are incredible and himself and Frank Iero are, in my humble opinion, one of the most under-rated guitar duos out there. There is a lot of nuance to their guitar parts and what can sound simple is far from it. 

I've tried my best to narrow my suggestions down to 10 but I just can't do it so here's 20 haha

Do share if you use SampleTank, I haven't messed with it at all.  I loved your idea about panning your guitar left and right and then panning the reverb to the other side.  I want to  try that!  Just to add on to that, I was taught that delay and reverb should always be a "send" to another bus and the reverb or delay affected on that bus.  That allows you to adjust the wet/dry mix for the effect and have multiple tracks with the same delay or reverb.  So I'm guessing you are sending the reverb to another bus and panning that bus.

I really enjoyed that!   Your guitar playing is is just so ON, it just really held things together and propelled your song forward.  And the tone was fantastic, just good and growly!  Top notch production top to bottom.
