Fun song. 3.5 ok.

Repeated double stops, but you have to jump to the right frets quickly, so 2.5.

Overall I didn't notice that much difference in difficulty between this Int with diff 4.5 and Adv 7. I would give it more of a 5 for Int and 6.5 for Adv.

Fun chart, I like this! 

This is a very difficult type of chart for me, and it's not just about soloing but also about quickly jumping around power chords. 8.5.

Me tuning up three guitars to play in a week of the championship when @ cacahuate51 is hosting.  JK - great selection of songs this week.

Super fun song to play, gotta nail that little bridge part to improve.

This was a surprising score for first site read and quite frankly sloppy play.

Finally, just when I was going request to be moved down to intermediate lead, I score up there with @ Rodman and @ Mikson and realize that I just need to practice some more during the week.

More scores later this week, holidays are done, work schedule is back to normal, getting back to my regularly scheduled life.

Regarding @ craxed  's level in my very very humble opinion, in doesn't make sense to "downgrade" him to int-Lead if he already won in adv-lead with 98% in rate 7!!! (the maximum difficulty in that level... actually I am in adv-lead for a year and I have never achieved that). Why do we need to ask him to get 99% in rate 5 for a promotion?? When I joined the championship for bass 2 years ago, I got second place in bass-advance, but when I asked to be assigned to bass-intermediate, @ Rodman  told me I belonged in bass-advanced and he was right! 

@ craxed  said that he is not so good at playing solos, but in my opinion (and this is my comment for the compendium) adv-lead is THE class where the main challenge is learning to play moderately difficult solos. In addition, @ craxed  have gotten 100% in most if not all the int songs, so this class won't represent any challenge for him and at the same time may become discouraging for the other contestants that are competing to get around 95% or so...

Anyway... would want to hear @ Rodman  and @ Mikson  opinion. And sorry for the inconvenience @ craxed , please keep submitting scores and we will figure it out, OK? Great to have you here, of course!!! 🤘

 

 

Good to have you back @ lowender  ! was just looking at older posts and i was wondering what happened. Did you have windows 11 by any chance? or was it just an old machine?

Just curious since my computer was also dying during that time period/ trying to see if maybe we had a similar issue. Cause I still dont know why mine was having issues.

Hmm odd. Well the only reason i even asked for the promotion thing was because thats what the machine was telling me to do. My guess is maybe the format player wasnt run last last week (even though the table had A you have to format it to count) so it was still asking me about his promotion to Advanced?

yea I had fun making that week aswell/ playing it since im mostly a racing car game player!! Glad you still remember it cause that one took quite a bit of time.

Just an old laptop. It was on it's way out for a while. My new one has win 11 and I had quite a few problems getting RS to work, it took 4 days and all I needed to do was to turn off exclusive audio in the sound settings.

Didnt like this song the first time I heard it months ago thought it was a bit bland but it grew on me the more i listened to it (although i think that happens with all music ).  It is kind of a hard spot for bands when something happens to the singer since theres so many members involved.  Restarting everything for it would be extremely hard/ not many can do it , so i understand why they did what they did. I like Emilys work in Dead sara a bit more, so i hope she doesnt abandon it completley still glad for her success with lp so far tho. 

I'll increase the difficulty to 2.5 since thats i guess kind of the middle ground?  I dont think the song should be a promotion song as its quite empty( ba dum tss) and not much variation/ repeats but i i guess its a bit fast? not convinced tbh but ok 

Just out of curiousity though, what would you guys consider a one then? And would we even use the song for the competition if its probably not a challenge to 100? also why do we have a 1 if we almost never use it. I'll go through the championships catalogue to see ig. 




 

I used to have an mp3 player (ipods were too much) that only could store like 50 songs and alot of them were three days grace songs. Also was one of the bands we would try to cover in middle school. So needless to say, they bring back alot of memories for me. I still enjoy them and glad the singer  went back to the band (about time) even if I didnt like their newer song that much (then again i only heard it once).

so i did a quick search for anyone interested lol. Apparently out of all the songs registered on the database rated with a number ( so about 1997 different songs atleast those are the ones on spotify might be a couple more) 3 were rated 1 and 1 was rated 1.5 for lead

I had a lot of fun too, most of the songs became staples on my daily play, Calling all Cars and i am Electric are such amazing bangers! I was thinking abou Magic Carpet Ride as an easy song, but it is paid DLC... And yeah, the hard part is to have the CDLC made, i was listening to Nascar Thunder 2003 soundtrack and Circles from Papa Roach is a nice song (not a 3 tho), but we have no CDLC on that. Nascar Thunder 2004 has some nice options too. 

 

When i click on the  setlist only 10 songs appear and i cannot find how to make all the songs show, how do i do it?

I'm totally fine with going advance-lead—it'll push me to work on the harder songs. I aim for about 10+ hours of practice a week. (I didn't track it, but the first week I probably put in over 30-40) I usually only have time to focus on one song at a time, I'm amazed at how others can work on so many songs in a week.

This week, I'm focused on the Three Days Grace song and plan to stick with it until I get it really clean. If I have extra time, I might try the Coheed and Cambria rhythm part because it's such a cool song.

Nah bro, i only having the time because i'm on vacation, and since i suck at guitar i try doing a little in each song, if i would try to perfect various songs i would be cooked. Your scores are amazing, the way you work is really paying out. And the more you get used to Rocksmith faster you will be better in the songs, since the charts are inverted if compared to the tabs we use most of the time.

yea some papa would be nice, although there hasnt really been a cdlc i fully like.
It should be similar to ignition page

you highlight the hamburger menu and then you change the default layout from 10 to 50 the  (circled red parts in picture, press ctrl and mouse to zoom in if the image numbers to small to read). It might take a while to change the settings so keep that in mind.
