Hello, about a few weeks ago, i was playing rocksmith just fine and with all the custom songs i have downloaded from http://search.customsforge.com/ as usual and the next day, its like everything changed...i used to be able to click on the "Rocksmith 2014" icon on my desktop and it starts up just fine and all but it started saying "make sure steam is running" and so i have tried having steam open and it still says the same thing and i have done "run as administrator" when launching steam and it seems to work ok but once i get in the game, the ONLY songs that are there are the default songs you get from the game. Not the custom songs OR the purchased songs i have. I submitted a Ubisoft support ticket and it helped a little. Like i was able to get the songs back but when i tried to play them, it froze at the screen with the amps just before the start of the song. So i got fed up with it and stopped messing with it for a while and just now, i went to see if anything magically changed and nope...all that is there is the default songs and YES, the custom songs ARE in the "DLC Folder"...I tried completely deleting Rocksmith 2014 from my computer and re-installing it but didn't seem to fix it.,..i tried searching google and nothing helped or was to old. This is, i guess one of those things where you turn off your computer one day and wake up or whatever the next day and everything changed or decided to not work.... So if ANYONE can help me and tell me how i can get everything back to normal; however it got messed up in the first place...that would be awesome. ANY additional information can be provided if need be.

-Thank you

did you use the file verification system of steam to make sure everything was alright there? Once you do that you have to put the .dll again to make custom work again.

file verification as in rocksmith 2014 - properties - local files - verify integrity of game cache ? And put the .dll on what? Sorry, i don' t know to much about the files and this and that

There nothing to know, just verify the integrity of the game cache and put the .dll you downloaded here in the Rocksmith2014 root folder. if That doesn't work, you can delete the .dll and try with the alternate one (you can find a link to those in the FAQ if you're not sure).
