why dont add the other albums as well, so we can easily track the progress on all albums.

Maybe we can share tabs as well, as I cant find all tabs of for example Opposites...

hey guys,

 

just wanted to drop by and give a huge thanks to the both of you! great to know there will be more biffy coming in the next weeks/months :)

 

saw them live this june as support for kings of leon. they were incredible! friend of mine never heard of them and is now a big fan :) the power of live music! :)

 

anyways keep up what you're doing. greatly appreciated!

They have amazing energy live, such a great band!

 

Me and a friend got tickets to see them play through all three albums over 3 nights in Glasgow this December, safe to safe excited is an understatement!!

woke up today to see your current project ciffy :) it's gonna be a good day! ;)

 

btw: anyone of you played bubbles on lead? that fucking riff at the end. playing the dominant part ( g and h string) is cool and all but i'm having a really hard time getting the a string in there. played it so many times yesterday but i always mess up switching to the a string. oh well...practice practice practices i guess :)

Haha it might take a bit, took me ages to try and adjust some of the notes! EoF doesn't seem to like changing time signatures, which is only a bit of a massive problem with biffy, so i think i'm gonna have to redo the tab haha! It really doesn't like the switching between 4/4 and 7/8 in different people haha!

 

Ah yeah have given it a go! When I learned it back when it came out i didn't hear that cheeky A string in there so it's quite difficult adjusting haha! Riff repeat that sly fox! Haha

take as long as you need :) i'm sure you'll do great :)

 

i will :) it's just so frustrating. you can't even really hear the a string in that riff, but it keeps messing up my score :(

 

btw : glasgow will be something special! more bands should do this. i read the tickets sold out in a couple of minutes.

Back from holiday and so much biffy, it's gonna be a fun week. Thanks.

 

And yeah, Biffy Clyro loves to change their time signatures during song. You can change the time signature in EOF by cliking in the same beat map than the guitar pro, and click Beat/Time signature/Custom. So you don't have to move notes. But i think you already know that.

 

I just want your opinion on something.

In some guitar pro tab, i see some notes which look like that :

Everytime i change it, because it seems rocksmith has some better recognition when it looks like that:

I just want to know if you have some recognition problem too. 

I saw that someone having the same question here (http://customsforge.com/topic/10605-can-someone-explain-the-difference-between-these-two/) and the answer confirm my choice.

What do you think ?

EoF imported the time signatures from GP, it just seems bars in 7/8 were half the tempo of bars in 4/4 which is frustrating as the song alternates between the two every 2 bars haha!

 

As to the octave thing, I'd say the muted middle string was more of a guide for the player to not play the that string rather than mute it, when I play those I mute so that there's no sound from that string and I believe that's probably the general idea when playing notes like that :)

I've seen that half of tempo thing between different signature before. 

I never import the time signature from GP, i always do it manually in EOF first when i put all the beat map in place, and only import the notes. It solves this problem for me.

Yes, of course i mute it too. But since no sound has to come from it, why even put it in the chart. But you're right, rocksmith is first a guide for how to play guitar before being a game, so it's more logic for beginners maybe. 

I will look at official custom to see how they put it.

nice work! played it yesterday. sounds good :) machines and folding stars are great too. a little easier to play than most biffy songs ;)
