  1. does anyone have any tips/advice on learning how to solo cleaner and better? I can solo some but i'd like to learn more and be able to someday write my own solos
  2. Just thought it would be cool to have a thread for Jam Tracks. Here's one I quickly wrote and created using the awesome Band In A Box, a Texas Blues song called Autumn Breeze. You can listen to it and download it from here. I'll be doing these regularly I think so hopefully this is the first of many. The chord progression can be seen below: http://i.imgur.com/uGJuBfq.jpg
  3. Wasn't too sure where to put this thread but thought here is as good a place as any. Has anyone tried Band In A Box..? Am looking for an alternative to Session Mode because I'm fed up with the band in Session Mode stopping when you stop playing and want more control over what the band is playing too. Band In A Box looks like exactly what I'm looking for. You basically just input key, the BPM, the chords you want the band to play, select a style of music and you're good to go. Was just wondering if anyone has had a chance to play around with it..? Have seen a few tutorials on YouTube and it looks pretty good.
  4. Wasn't too sure where to post these but here is as good a place as any. The first video here is a handy way to learn how to play your scales up and down the neck by combining the different boxes of each Pentatonic position to make one big box, or scale map: This second one is how to combine the Minor and Major Pentatonic Scales into one box shape for each position, and of course you can (and should!) combine this with the scale mapping idea above: Not too sure what you'd call the scale...Pentatonic Mijor perhaps..? Or maybe there's a proper name for it lol    Please feel free to add more to this thread that you've found useful.
