  1. This is my basic workflow for making the song. This is also good approach for quick check if it's worth to do the song (checking out the tab). Disclaimer: This is not the only one approach but it's the best practice for minimizing manual frustrating error-prone work and it allows you to actually go back and fix anything in the sync, tab, sections or phrases easily. (You can use this tutorial even if you later decide to maintain chart completely in EoF.) Note for tabbing: I have found GP/GPA combo to be great for creating tabs from scratch - I figure out the BPM, sync the measures and progres
  2. Hi, I normally use TuxGuitar to do my initial tabs, but I'm considering getting GP6, because TG doesn't support unfretted slide, and fixing it in EOF is annoying, especially when I go back to the original tab and fix it. After loading, I have to redo the tweaks. So I'm considering getting GP6, but before I do (and because the trial version won't let me save), do unfretted slides (e.g. slide from fret 7 to fret 4, but don't play the note) import correctly in EoF? Is there any reason not to use it? Thanks, L
  3. The last update was in 2009, but two days ago they released a new version. I haven't used all of the new features yet, nor do I plan to do so, but if others use them it would be cool if you could share your insights with the rest of us. http://www.tuxguitar.com.ar/
  4. Quick Question: is it possible to use other Tab Editor software such as Tux?? Being that its free?? Can EoF import that song file?? Cheers, Just a Newb_bomber and I'm looking to make my own CDLC to share... #learning_Curve
  5. I need your help for Freeware program Tuxguitar: I got it without gpx plugin and can not get it as I can not build this by myself from jar or whatever it is originally packed. (and I know it is there working as I read on the net about gpx import) there is C:tuxguitarshareplugins and there should be directory: tuxguitar-gpx with few files and subdirectories so I need this whole directory: tuxguitar-gpx so I can copy it to my tuxguitar directory and I hope it will work :)
