    Grindcore

I figured there's people out there who enjoy grindcore as much as me, so I thought i'd try my hand at compiling a list of grindcore cdlcs, and it's sub-genres. I plan on updating this list periodically, so let me know what I've missed! btw i totally ripped off of hologrammar's format lol Notable Charters @ghgeek20, @Comalive, @qt314xxx Avant-garde Fantômas (3 songs) Classic Style Anal Cunt (6 songs; lead only, 404'd) Gridlink (3 songs) Napalm Death (4 songs) Deathgrind Aborted (5 songs) Benighted (11 songs) Brain Drill (1 song) Cattle Decapitation (2 songs) Dying Fetus (6 songs) Misery Index (1 song; lead only) Rotten Sound (1 song; rhythm only) Industrial Grindcore The Berzerker (1 song) Pornogrind Alien Fucker (5 songs) Cock and Ball Torture (1 song) Rompeprop (1 song) Bands with lots of tabs that haven't been done yet Anal Cunt (6 tabs) Autopsy (17 tabs) Bolt Thrower (~30 tabs) Brain Drill (7 tabs) Cattle Decapitation (13 tabs) Cock and Ball Torture (15 tabs) Dying Fetus (30+ tabs) Gut (10 tabs) Impaled (6 tabs) Misery Index (20+ tabs) Napalm Death (40+ tabs) Pig Destroyer (8 tabs) The Berzerker (19 tabs) The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza (25 tabs)
  2. hi everyone the problem i'm getting since yesterday is that my rocksmith realtone cable is making an enormous buzz, i know its the cable because it does it even if the bass isn't plugged i tried to play like this but its really annoying(and loud) what weirdens me out is that it wasn't something progressive, the day prior i played for hours and i had no trouble or any buzzing at all, i tried by cleaning it, setting it in other usb port but nothing changed, i dont know what to do? buying the replacement is not an option as they are overpriced as hell where i live(my friend wanted one and the cheapest one was like 90 dollars)
  3. If I switch from rhythm to lead I get a buzzing noise coming out of the speakers until I go back to rhythm. The buzz is so bad I won't use it until I can solve this problem. I have removed everything from laptop like all extra usb devices, moved laptop to another room, ran off just the battery, even took it outside. I found this problem just a few weeks ago because I felt like it was time to learn the lead side of songs. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.
  4. Hello people, first time poster. I have been using RS14 on my mac without any issues for over a year now. Last night I thought I would have a session, started up the game, logged into my play account and got to the main menu. The problem is when the connected guitar registered an ungodly noise started. The animated speakers on the main menu were buzzing away like the strings were being scratched at yet I hadn't picked up the guitar from the stand yet. Now this isn't the static sound most people have complained about in the past, this was a loud scratching, like a very drunk steven vai. My guitar volume was turned up, the connections seemed fine. Holding the strings seems to dull the noise...only slightly. I checked the pickups for dirt or grime, restarted RS 3 times, changed USB ports, tried to calibrate, noticed the quick tuner in the corner was going off tap. Nothing seemed to fix it. I shut down RS and opened up my sound settings in system prefs. Selected the tone cable and saw the the volume bar was flickering like the computer was receiving input from the guitar. I unplugged the guitar and yep...still sound flickered. Thats when I thought the cable was the cause. Disconnecting the break away section (while the small section still in the USB) the flickering stopped. So now I'm suspecting the issue is in the proprietary chip imbedded in the cable. If rocksmith is going to force us to use a their cable, why can't they make sure it isn't rubbish! So it looks like i'll be shelling out another $50 for the cable here in Australia. I've seen people like myself complain about the cables quality, I'm shocked a clever person hasn't developed a patch to remove the need to use these crappy cables. If someone has, please I would love a patch for the mac. *UPDATE* After paying out on the cable, I started up the old xbox 360 and tested the RS14 version with the cable. Works perfectly fine. So it's the mac. How? why? Just shoot me now. At least i didn't throw away 50 bucks for another cable. *UPDATE 2* WELL.....after posting my update, i decided to give it one more go on the mac. Started up RS14 without the cable plugged in, main menu...plugged in the cable and yyyyeeerrrrpppp. Nothing wrong with it. I have spent the past 24 hours troubleshooting a problem that appeared out of thin air and disappear as easily. Computers....unbelievable.
  5. The more I played RS14, the more I got annoyed by bad tones. Not tones from charters, but the tones RS14 generates on my hifi. Even official customs sound poor. Santana doesn't sound like that, neither does Eric Johnson. Amp plugins like Amplitube, Guitar Rig, Waves GTR sound so much better on this same hifi. I envied my friends here who could play RS14 with a Y-split cable connected to the guitar, to split one cable to RS14 and the other to an effect pedal and their Amp. I read about some noise in threads by @doctorz and by @Hostilian how to get rid of it, by buying more electronic stuff, costing about 40€ for 1/4" input/outputs. It didn't convince me because I had real noise in the Amp and in RS14 when connecting a Y-cable... RS even recorded noise (speakers show waves) without connecting pedals, with the Amp shut off but plugged in. I start this thread because I couldn't find the tag "ground loop noise" Thanks to youtube, someone explained that electronic stuff "fights" for the ground. The one losing this fight gets current in his ground line, which causes the noise, and is not secure. To remove this noise, one item has to be connected without ground. I happen to have an elder plug without ground, and connected the Amp. And the noise was gone.. completely ... silence, a new world opens, what a difference to play through pedals/ amp. Now, I don't know the risks, specialists warn (should anybody play RS taking a bath, or outside, or during a storm?), but if you feel uncertain, don't do it. However many electric items have non grounded plugs (three connectors) desk-lamps, videorecorders, PS2, Hifi Amps, even my TV ... And I guess it's more secure not to have ground then to have an electric current on the ground line, at least for the equipment. Looking for another solution, I found out that some power box (maybe weakly grounded) reduce the noise of the Amp. Using a laptop with battery also silenced the ground noise, strangely only with the y-cable between the Pedal and the Amp. But the final (free) solution came when I didn't listen to the specialists (again) who say all connected pieces must go into the same power box. In fact I connected the PC to an opposite wall plug and no ground noise anymore, and no risk :) And if that doesn't help, consider the Behringer HD400 Microhd 2 Channel Hum Destroyer (about 40€ or 25$ / strange currency difference )
  6. http://s12.postimg.org/zchpg3wgp/laksdjflksd.jpg I'm wondering what's everyone's settings because mine are here as shown and I know this has to do with computer specs as well but ever since the game came out I've been struggling with making it sound right and I'm tired of it. I've read countless forums and tweaked here and there but now I just want to know yours and I'll input those numbers and see which one works for me but for now I see no lag which was a problem long ago for me. My sound get's distorted sometimes, loud unnecessary ringing, hit a single string and another sometimes plays with an annoying ring, on palm mutes my sound goes crazy sometimes I have to lower guitar volume on certain songs, of course all these scenarios are with different numbers input. The settings I have now are so low and by that I mean the latency buffer at - 1 and the Max Output buffer at - 768 because if I go higher now for some reasons I get the damn crackling which is weird... Anyway, I'm tired of tweaking and would appreciate any help.
